Oh **** no to Trufant

He is controllable and isnt a FA till 2023 but he is about 15 mil per year on the cap

NJChiefsFan 10-28-2019 08:19 PM

Howard is a classic Pats move.

pugsnotdrugs19 10-28-2019 08:30 PM

Trufant has the ability to actually be a #1 tho

Ward would be our #1 with Trufant our #2 but both CBs play like #1s. Would take a third tho to get him since he is controllable

Can scratch off Howard getting traded at all

Ward has only started 10 games or so.

That's not enough of a sample size.

I like what we’ve seen from Ward but this is rich. He’s not a #1 yet. Just now scratching the surface as a true #2.

Since week 2 he’s the best CB in the league allowing a passer rating of 42.4 and has a averaged only allowing 27 yards caught against him a game

Saints with Green, Thomas and Kamara would be scary...

And that’s awesome but it needs to continue before he’s relied on as a true #1.

The argument for corner is pretty simple. Is it a huge need now? Maybe not.

But you add a dude there and your secondary becomes a legit strength to lean on.

How much longer do we need?

Buckweath 10-28-2019 08:47 PM

I've always wanted to add a top CB since the offseason and I still believe it is very much a need both on a short and long term perspective but the price is so high.
