The issue seems to be that Moore is highly regarded as a defensive player, but he is hell bent on playing Tight End. As a Tight End, he is still a very good player, but he's not as sought after as DI.

Moore is likely the better overall player, but that doesn't mean much if he isn't willing to play defense.

I'll admit I'm a novice when it comes to football recruiting - but that was my point. Why make a commitment if you are going to continue to explore your options? Why not just say "I haven't decided yet".
