I get that he’s raw, but I can’t even fathom going into next season with him projected as anything more than a backup, and that really sucks. Thank God Morris has progressed, and him doing so gives me hope for Kingsley, but man, he was just so bad. Pat looked like a totally different player with him out there.

Bro.....it's so bad as soon as Wanya was back in the offense looked completely different!!!! And Wanya is literally the definition of mid.

Wanya had the bad game against the Raiders last year, but Kingsley literally has looked like he's only played for some semi pro failed football league at best.

Also, Veach drafted Skyy Moore when he could have drafted that absolute beast that the Steelers got.

Some of the shine is starting to wear off on some of these drafts.

We need Suamata-turnstile to at least turn into Suamata-security bag check.

Getting back off the line to pass block might be the worst footwork I've seen on an LT in quite awhile.

Woof.

Sure, Veach goes on vacation every year after the trade deadline. He never keeps digging to add available veterans when they can make us better.

Smells bad, tastes bad

Commanders have rookie 3rd rounder Brandon Coleman starting at left tackle and he’s doing really well. It’s clearly not impossible to find decent tackle ply outside the top 15.

I'd say Donovan is available.

Was a known total project so I don't know why anyone is surprised he sucks.

Because everyone projected his athleticism to be elite. He was atrocious. I almost never say this about a rookie because who knows...but man he doesn't look anywhere near to being an NFL player. I don't know if it's partly mental but I can't believe he was a R2 pick.

He's a 2nd rounder.

My attitude to drafts is that it always takes at least a couple of years to evaluate how it went. That said, a draft like the McDuffie, Watson etc year was so insanely good it had multiple contributors throughout and in their rookie years. Compared to that, yeah, the last two haven't really hit, but that's a helluva high standard.

Have to say Worthy has been a disappointment in terms of direct impact, Kingsley...well, Wiley was anonymous before injury, Hicks looks promising, the rest have been blocked by better starters. But we'll know better next year.

Kingsley is the only guy who looks like ne needs a total rebuild to not be a bust

Every Chiefsplanet training camp expert said he was going to be the next Willie Roaf!

I think CP tends towards wild optimism, but given the last few years' drafts it's reasonable.

What's disappointing with Kingsley is I thought he was actually OK against the Ravens. Van Noy beat him a couple of times but he was fine. The Bengals game seems to have ruined him. I don't know if it's poor technique being exposed, the athleticism not being as advertised, or if it's mental. It definitely looks like he's s**t scared of being beaten inside and against speed is then losing round the edge. He's a rookie, and effectively a 3rd rounder, but yeah it's pretty bad, I'd have expected more.

Another drafted Tackle that looks more suited to playing Guard.

It's a shame because i had high hopes for this guy, but he cannot pass black on space to save his life. It seems like it all comes down to his footwork though so hopefully they can continue working on it
