Had too many martinis last night. Mowing the yard was rough in the heat today

My bartender service-owning neighbor says you add a little grenadine to those and they're awesome.

Did some early morning drinking yesterday at a place here in Old Town Scottsdale called the "Coach House". They open at 6am but I got there around 9:30 am to watch some golf. Had a few Lagunitas IPA's and a few shots of Jameson. :eek:

Then went to Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix for a great meal (posted in what you had for dinner thread)

Nice! But like, how do you continue the rest of the day after that? Do you go nap or do you just stop drinking for a while, or just continue lightly drinking throughout the rest of the day?

If I start, I don't really stop until it's bed time, so I definitely avoid morning drinking personally.

Oh yeah.. I forgot I had bought some ginger beer the other day.. sounds like Moscow Mules ...

You know what is good.. is adding some more ginger flavor into the moscow mule with the addition of some Domaine de Canton, a french ginger liqeuor.

I stopped after 3 beers and 2 shots, then went for lunch at Pizzeria Biano to put food in my stomach. Had one beer and two glasses of wine there but stayed for about 90 minutes to chill. Took a nap for a few hours and was golden. :D

Oh Contre my good man. A real margarita is very simple.

Juice from 2 limes
2 oz tequila (I prefer Reposado)
1 oz triple sec

That’s it. No sugary shit like these fat Americans like. Boom!!!

Next time we have a get together, I'm ordering a round of those for all of us! They look real good for summertime. I used to drink frozen margaritas a LOT back in NJ after golf sitting on the patio. 4-5 in 2 hours :D

Belvedere Ginger Zest vodka, fresh strawberries, pinch of sugar, lime zest, and lime juice into a blender. Pour into one of those mini ziplock bags and freeze overnight. Pop in a cruelty-free, biodegradable straw and enjoy.

Yeah, I just keep adding stuff until it tastes right and is a good consistency. You can also add a bit of water to help it freeze.
