Yep went about 4 miles high and only 100 yards into the drink. Gonna need a new ball.

Getting better. Bowen might be the guy.

Mr_Tomahawk 10-18-2014 06:55 PM

Missed the game today....don't know how we did overall, but I was hoping we would keep it to within a TD.

Damn, same 'ol story.

Tight end Josh Moore decommits from Ohio State and picks Kansas

By Matt Tait

Score one for the Clint Bowen recruiting resume.
Thursday afternoon, JayhawkSlant.com reported that Josh Moore, a 6-foot-5, 250-pound tight end from nearby Olathe North High had switched his commitment from Ohio State to Kansas University.
Moore, who recently made a visit to KU with O-North teammate Isaiah Simmons (the 6-3, 195-pound brother of KU senior Victor Simmons), reportedly decided to switch to KU after being impressed by what he heard from Bowen, the Jayhawks' interim head coach, and his uneasy feelings about his commitment to Ohio State.
Class of 2015

Here's a look at the 2015 recruiting class as it looks so far.
KU oral commitments in Class of 2015

"I know he called up there and made a verbal commitment to Clint," Olathe North coach Gene Wier told Jon Kirby of JayhawkSlant. "He knows there isn't a head coach and it's hard to commit when there isn't one. But he likes what he has heard since Bowen took over. He didn't have any interest in KU before but now that has changed."
Wier told Kirby that Moore has been impressed by Bowen for a long time.
"When (Bowen) took over Josh mentioned he really liked him," Wier said. "I told him just to hang and see how things play out. I would say it is in a holding pattern and he's watching what is going to happen," Wier said.
Moore, a three-star prospect according to Rivals.com, becomes the 14th member of the Class of 2015 to commit to Kansas. Despite not knowing which head coach will lead them into the 2015 season, the Jayhawks are expected to sign a full class because of the number of departing seniors.
Simmons, a three-star safety who plays both offense and defense at O-North, has yet to make a commitment but holds offers from KU and Missouri.

Welcome back Coach Warinner.

From what I've heard, tOSU recruited over him and pulled his offer. He may end up at Kansas, but he's still actively exploring his options. Meyer is an absolute snake, BTW.

Well we will take him....

I don't think anybody here is under the illusion that we're kiping the best and brightest stars from the Suckeyes.

But hopefully if the kid can CATCH THE MOTHER****ING FOOTBALL and not get his ass beat like a drum in the run game, we will most certainly take him.

The kid can play. I believe Mizzou will come after him again. Either way, I'd rather he be at Kansas than tOSU.

His offer list is nice. Should be a nice player for us. The hole left by Mundine is going to be massive...

But Ben Johnson and Moore should be a nice combo moving forward the next few years.

This is one thing I dislike about college football. A "commitment" isn't really a commitment. It's more like a "Hey, I kind of like this team right now, so I'll go there. It probably will change though."

It works both ways, though. Urban had a spot for him...until he signed a better player. Of course when Urban does it, it's usually because Jesus told him it was the right thing to do.
