Just watched the teaser trailer for Return of the Living Dead.

My only question is - why?

The old Return of the Living dead or are they making a new one? The old one was great 80s cheesy type horror/comedy movies. Loved it.

Cause it was hilarious and fun.

I'm assuming it's a new one - the big, oiled up zombie (from the drum) is carrying a Christmas tree through the cemetery. It's like a minute teaser trailer that's available now.

Oh, don't get me wrong - I definitely enjoyed the first.

The part when the black, oiled up zombie from the drum takes a big chunk out of that guy's head, or the part where the short haired babe dances naked on the grave (teenage me really enjoyed that scene) - I enjoyed it too.

I'm just not sure it needed to be remade.

I am pretty sure I gave it the old rub and tug to this at one point in my early years.

Smile 2 was OK. It wasn’t really scary at all and leaned more into body horror than anything, IMO.

I also thought the ‘twist’ was a bit unoriginal..

Demi Moore is Elisabeth Sparkle, an aging celebrity fitness instructor who's being phased out of the business by a sleazy exec (Dennis Quaid). Desperate to reclaim her youth and cling to relevance, she resorts to some extreme measures that lead her down a dark and self-destructive path. Guys, the movie is NUTS! The final 30 minutes are simply insane! I loved it! Not surprised to see it at 90% on RT.

Whoever taught the directors anatomy class definitely took some psychedelics and that whole casino carpeting looking atmosphere reminded me of that scene in 'The Shining' where Danny was riding his tricycle in the hallway.

Yep. Very reminiscent of The Shining.

Also, Demi just won a Golden Globe for her performance. Good stuff.

Demi Moore got that old lady butt going on. Still would touch...
