The Raiders need some playmakers. They gotta take a shot at QB eventually since they missed out on the top 2 of this draft, but it's too early for somebody like McCoy or LeFevour or Pike. This draft has seen some long rushes on CBs, Safeties, and defensive linemen. Any pick they make there better be a good one. I don't see much value.

What I do see is this middle linebacker prospect from Penn State who had some nagging injuries in 2008. He's a natural leader on the Penn State team. As a tackler he WRAPS UP. Speed is his issue, but at this point, getting a Mike Maslowski-type in the middle (he's not THAT slow) might give this defensive unit some pride until it's time to look at some more defensive linemen or (better yet) a QB.

The Oakland Raiders select Sean Lee, ILB, Penn State University

Could be right. Of course, I don't agree, but I think he'll mainly play the slot. He has about the same speed as Gilyard, who you called the next DeSean Jackson.

The difference is that Gilyard has 15 pounds on him.

That's why they factor in size w/ the 40 time for the speed # projection.

This is a good value pick. He'll never be a PBer, but he can be a solid starter for a number of years.

Lee was second on my board when I picked Houston for the G-Men. Value meets need once again. Isn't it a beautiful thing?;)

Well this pick comes down to 2 guys for me, I can get a 3rd starter here and I'll do it by making a pick that fills a need and is a classic Packers pick, good value here too.

Packers select Koa Misi, OLB, Utah.

Considered him in the 2nd but felt it was a bit of a reach here it fits.

The Eagles will round out their 3rd round by taking yet another LB. The LB group is easily the biggest need right now on the Eagles defense.

The Philadelphia Eagles select Dekoda Watson, OLB, Florida State.

Here's a fun little game that is sure to get someone butthurt:

Everyone name the lowest rated player on your board that has already been taken.

Example:

Jamar Chaney was the 132nd player on my board and was taken in the early 3rd round.

It's pretty obvious whos having the worst draft so far.

DeezNutz 03-18-2010 11:36 AM

The AZ Cardinals need help along their offensive line:

Jason Fox, OT, Miami

I'll PM Deez to tell him that he's up.

DeezNutz 03-18-2010 11:37 AM

Thanks for the PM, Deez. The Cardinals are thrilled that the dumbass GM in front of them reached for Fox, leaving a very talented CB who still has more upside:

Jerome Murphy, CB, South Florida
