They definitely need to acquire two more talented D lineman. |
I think Eric Reid would be a great fit next to Berry but for obvious reasons I'm skeptical there.
Boston wouldn't be a bad idea as a coverage safety as they need some of those too. I'd say Vaccarro and Eric Reid would be two nice signing. |

With how they play nickel safety/lb, Reid would actually be a great add.
|
Reid's brain is scrambled
|
Quote:
Boston really isn't a 3 down safety, which is why teams aren't chomping at the bit to sign him. Eric Reid already believes he's being blackballed by the owners, so he's definitely off the Chiefs radar. Vaccaro would be a decent fit for the the right price but I wouldn't sell the farm to acquire him. |
Quote:
Teams throw more now than ever so Boston wouldn't have to come off the field very often. |
There's not really anyone out there in free agency that's gonna be a superstar at this point, unless you get in the Suh market or maybe Pouncey.
But there's some fillers that could be decent signings which is what the Chiefs need on D. |
As much as we run in Nickle and Dime.. I'd say a talented Safety would trump a NT as far as "need". I'd think you could pick up a vet on the cheap and a fat body guy later in the draft that's serviceable.
What the hell happened to Parker Ehringer? Did he get hurt or suddenly forget how to play guard?!? |

Passing on the BPA, Derek Carr, for Dee Ford hammered that in my head. Drafting for any need will **** you over. I don’t give a shit as long as the player is someone we can all agree that we’d pay a 2nd contract to. |

Best player available is a bit cliché for sure. |

QB, RB, WR, ILB, OT, ST’s. Choose BPA of the positions outside of that list. |

But I'd like to get them in before spring stuff just so they can all get as much time together as possible. |

Love it. |
If they sign Hankins, they gotta put him on some type of weight program. That fat bastard has eaten his way off two teams already.
|
Quote:
Drafting for need is basically when you just pick the best player available at that one position that you need. Drafting for the BPA is picking the best overall player but taking into account your needs and positional value. |
Former #Dolphins C Mike Pouncey is expected to sign with the #Chargers, sources say. A big addition in the middle of their offensive line. He’s visiting there now.
|
Good signing for them.
Chargers probably be my pick to with the West as we sit right now. |
Pouncey sucks.
|
Pouncey came in with a 46.5 2017 PFF grade, one of the worst in football.

But they've got a nice collection of players outside of him. Good defense, with legit rushers and now a good OL and good skill guys. |
The Chiefs dismantle the Chargers every year. Last year they did it twice and the 2nd game they had a horrible defense against a completely healthy Chargers offense and it still didn’t matter.

Chargers are a good team if they had a kicker they most likely win the West last year.

Chargers cannot defend the run, and thus far they have not addressed that at all. Rivers is also a hit and miss QB these days. Brilliant against Dallas, complete garbage against us.
|
The Chargers play in a 25,000 seat stadium and do not have Home Field advantage.
They’ll struggle to win as long as they play in LA. Rivers decision to commute everyday doesn’t help them, either. |
I was kinda pissed quite frankly watching GMFB this morning as they talked about how the Chargers were clear favorites.
Same story, new year. They pumped them up for weeks leading up to that week 15 ass whooping last year too. At some point, they need to prove that they can beat an Andy Reid coached team in a game where starters play. The jury is still out on Anthony Lynn. I think if people are counting on Mahomes to be the reason why it’s the Chargers’ year, that’s some wishful thinking. |

More to do with the chiefs d from my perspective
It was shitty and thus far, other than Hitchens, hasn’t gotten better |

I’m not sure he even played that day. I don’t remember it if he did anyways.

Ya he’s probably just a body at this point. Can’t wait til the draft to see how this DL is improved.
|
6’t” 325 lbs. looks like was passed on Xavier Williams for this guy to be our NT.
Good. Don’t spend considerable resources on a 2 down player. |

I think he’ll have a great year and win the division, but I can see why talking heads are picking the potential HOF QB over the QB with next to no real experience in the NFL. It’s okay. Andy Reid alone is why we should win this division next year. Pat will just be icing on the cake. |
You can predict the Chargers will put it all together in one hand and shit in the other
For a team that wins the "Best Team To Not Make the Playoffs" award every other season, you'll have to excuse me if I don't believe they are favorites to do jack ****ing shit. |
So we were the other team that made an offer to Kyle Fuller, that he turned down.
https://chiefsupdate.com/2018/03/19/...r-kyle-fuller/ Per a report, the Kansas City Chiefs made an attempt to bring the Fuller family reunion to the metro area, but fell short. Chicago Bears cornerback Kyle Fuller was assigned the transition tag this offseason by his team, which meant that any NFL team could sign him to an offer sheet, but the Bears retained the right to match any offer. The Green Bay Packers signed Fuller to an offer sheet this past week, but reports surfaced that he had turned down an offer prior to accepting the Packers’. Local Chicago beat writer, DeVante Tidwell, reported that the initial offer came from KC. According to Tidwell’s report, the offer from the Packers gave Fuller more leverage and control, which was a top priority for him through the negotiations. |

NFLPA official cap report has us down to $7.9M.
