I watched guy about ten years ago at the OG Arthur Bryant’s pull out a bottle Gate’s sauce to use on his combo plate. I don’t think Bryant’s sauce is considered anything special.

Depends. AB's is OG. If you're a fan of vinegary old school sauces, AB's is kind of the standard. Always get some AB's when I get back to KC, though I tend towards the Bold and Spicy, or whatever it's called. Bottom line, if you want to taste 'original' KC BBQ sauce, AB's is one of the actual originals.

Also a fan of Gates, which is more of a tomato-based sauce, iirc, less sweet than a lot of others. I'm more into savory than sweet, so I like Gates a lot.

Joe's is another good sauce, also old school.

for a spicier more modern sauce, Jack Stacks is pretty good.

Gates is the best sauce in KC imo.

Everything else about Gates is overrated but the sauce is very good.

A thought on the game:

I only want to see Isiah Pacheco in this game if Kareem Hunt needs a breather.

Hunt has better vision, hits the hole just as hard, and falls forward instead of straight down.

He also has been waiting 7 years for this opportunity. He wants this bad.

He needs to start and get the bulk of the carries on Sunday.

Ok. Now do the SB.

Ok.

When we win Sunday I would like that exact same arrangement in the Super Bowl.

We are not losing to Buffalo.

Yeah the Bills were lucky that was not uglier than it was. On KenPom, for college hoops, they have a LUCK factor essentially meaning how lucky a team has been or how many fortunate breaks they have received. In that game:

1 ) Bills convert 3rd and 17 on the first drive as Josh Allen is running and throws it across the field to his back. They end up kicking a FG that drive in lieu of punting. +3 points.

2 ) Bills convert a 3rd and goal from 13 yard line. JA escapes the pocket left and is running out of time and Shakir makes a toe tap grab for a touchdown. Credit to Bills but a pretty unlikely play. +4 points touchdown in lieu of FG.

3.) Mecole Hardman fumbles at the 1 yard line for a touchback. +7 points.

I dont know after watching that game I'm not so sure there were any plays or any drives where I thought the Chiefs were extremely fortunate or lucky. They had it rolling that night. If even one of the above plays go differently that game gets ugly.

Like 85 out of a 100 QBR.

Oh, wow, they actually did give him a 85. We round up in this country so it was technically an 86 lol

Suck it, DJ! I’M VINDICATED!!!

The odds of the same team getting 30 on Spags twice in a season can't be great.

Especially with our upgrades since then.

I think the Bills score 23, tops, Sunday.

Yes. Buffalo fans have been overly confident every time they've played KC in the Playoffs, including the first matchup back in January 2021. They were blowing out their opponents heading into that game, so they assumed it would translate against KC...especially when Chiefs struggled to beat the Cleveland Browns. Cleveland was the game where Mahomes got the turf toe injury that needed surgery, along with a head shot that was probably a concussion.

Josh Allen got away with 2 turnover worthy plays on the final drive, a fumble and interception quality throw for a potential Pick 6 if the Chief guys did not run into each other. Mahomes had zero turnover worthy plays in that game.

Buffalo had a lot of luck go their way to have a chance at tying the ballgame with the Bass wide right kick. Even if Bass made it, odds are pretty strong Mahomes/Kelce/Butker end up killing Buffalo in the final 80-90 seconds of that game.

I don't remember many details about the game. I do remember posting here that I wasn't pissed that we lost, just that we looked so shitty doing it.

I doubt that happens again, especially with a trip to go to the SB on the line.

True, but if Andrews catches that pass and they somehow beat Buffalo(who still had 2 TO's and 1:33) he would have gotten the monkey off his back and would have been a tough out. Now he enters another year, with another monkey, on his back...
