Pulling a Eugene Robinson would make more sense in Vegas.

He's going to have to play balls to the walls and get lucky a couple times, IMO.

He's going to need to take chances and hope they get another deep completion on a dropped pick. Or our guy trips in coverage. Or a weak flag gets thrown.

He can't play tight, IMO - that's just a recipe for a closer loss. If he wants to win this game, Purdy's going to have to play like his head's on fire and his ass is a catchin'. And if he does that, he's going to put some balls in harms way. If we end up with them, they lose badly. If they get through somehow, they could win it.

So I know a lot of people think Purdy needs to manage the game and I think the opposite. He needs to play as aggressively as he's ever played in his life. Because if you lose by 3 or you lose by 30, you still lost. Nobody remembers if you kept it close.

If he plays like he played against Detroit they lose by 10. Just like the Chiefs were at the start of this season Detroit was a couple of dropped balls away from winning that game. Add in the stupid fumble and Dan Cambell shitting himself they really should have won handily.

If we get a lead, I expect to yell “take the points” at my TV a lot.

He was a preacher or some shit too IIRC.

Nick Bosa already making excuses or begging the refs to help him. Maybe Chris Jones should do the same thing since he gets held & grabbed (and kicked!) worse than any DL in the league.

Wow, easy buliten board material.

Didn't think they'd give it up that easily.

- surprise! You’re inactive, just an hour before kickoff. If he acts up have security remove him.
- we won the Super Bowl! Tomorrow you’re cut.

The odds of him being(really) injured by game day is 50/50 also

My impression of Nick Bosa:

He’s still a hyper-aggressive bull in a china shop. The Lions were able to scheme to take advantage of that.

Gee, I wonder if Andy Reid and co. will try to do the same…

wachashi 02-01-2024 03:43 PM

Does anyone ever remember a game in which the consensus pundit pick was an underdog in Vegas? When has that ever happened?
