I thought it was a masterful episode but not worthy of a crown season finale

Sure, if it wasn't the final episode. I agree. But since it was the final episode I give it a 4 turd rating.

Interesting fact: in real life, the actress that plays Alicent (Olivia Cooke, 30) is only one year older than the actor that plays her son Aegon (Tom Glynn Carney, 29).

I went back and read this thread from when season 1 was happening and season 1 was pretty much unanimously loved by the board. Some in here are acting like the criticism comes from people being mad that there wasn't enough action this season, but that's not it at all. Season 1 didn't have much action, but it had outstanding character development and the dialogue was actually captivating and interesting. I would give season 1 an A.

Season 2 was nothing like that. There were some good parts and good conversations, but for the most part it was incredibly boring. It was the same thing episode after episode. It wasn't even close to as good as season 1 was and season 1 was supposed to be the set up to the war, but we got jack shit to do with the war and we still have Rhaenyra thinking things will be peaceful and whining about not being able to do what she wants. It's like different people wrote each season.

They had to shoe-horn a transgender in there somehow...that whole section was created to deliberately showcase that...and of course had to turn sexual..that was the whole point....throw in one of the soldiers during the mud fight had blue hair...for woke goodness.

That actor immediately gave me bad vibes so I looked them up...yep...a youtube "personality" trans who cant act.

Then you have the seaborn guy who just stumbles on a dragon that chooses him? He lived in the city and worked on ships...good thing he had a dragon-sized saddle ready for just that scenario so he could ride it...they left out how that whole thing transpired because they couldn't figure out a way to make it work....just skipped to the "oh, he's black and has a dragon now".

So many stupid plot twists that I was constantly being reminded I was watching actors reading lines...throw in a lesbian make-out and you have a cluster**** of show runners destroying an episode....this show took a dive quickly.

You might try reading the source material of the series you’re bitching about. Blue hair dye is very common in Essos, especially Tyroshi culture.

Here’s a book-accurate depiction of Daario Naharis:

https://awoiaf.westeros.org/images/7...io_naharis.jpg

Quote:

Daario is lithe and smooth skinned with bright, deep blue eyes which can appear almost purple. His curly hair reaches his collar, and he keeps his beard cut in three prongs. Daario dyes his hair and trident beard, sometimes in blue and other times in deep purple. His fingernails are also enameled blue. Daario's mustachios are painted gold, and he has a large, curving nose. A golden tooth gleams in his mouth.

Maybe you should watch the show without seeing it through your political bias?

I dont watch entertainment with a political bias...only notice things when they seemed forced and out of place.

The last 3 shows I've checked out have ALL had homosexual scenes...which makes up 3-4% of the population.

in 2012 3.5% of U.S. adults aligned themselves with the LGBTQ+...now they are saying it's 7.6%

Like it or not...this is a social engineering agenda being force-fed through entertainment...and has doubled the percentage in just a decade.

It's impossible NOT to notice it unless you have an uncritical eye....I dont care if it flows with the plot. Euphoria (A24) had homosexual and trans elements..and it worked. These seem staged and forced...and takes you out of the vibe. I literally say to myself..."Ok...here comes the uncomfortable gay sex scene".

Not as sad as not being able to recognize it...you can have your opinion and I'll have mine.

I've studied cinema for 3 decades (Fellini, Bergman, Kubrick, Lynch, Welles...and so on)...I understand direction and the process in creating a movie. It's glaringly obvious when something is shoehorned in...

You're coming into a scifi thread about dragons and magic, and bragging about your ability to identify trans people. That's what you choose to be pretentious about. "Studied cinema." LMAO... you're a clown.

..you do realize that House of Dragon isnt Sci-fi?...being that you cant even identify the proper genre of this series....I dont think you should be lecturing about another's ability to identify anything.

You are not a smart human...
