One would think so unless they have gone insane. Andy Reid would not trade away the guy with highest Passer Rating in the NFL this year if Andy wasn't extremely confident in what Mahomes is right now and what he will be in the future.

Naa, i work during the week.

I came home from jiu jitsu, found out about the trade, poured a glass of wine, and read every post of this thread.

I am so ****ing elated. It was fun watching everyone speculate what the deal actually was. I screamed in my car when I read it.

I am so happy that they didn't drag this out until the draft. I am so happy that a MAJOR hole in the defense is filled by an ascending player on a 3rd round rookie deal.

I am so happy that we have a second and two thirds this year to address the defense.

I am so happy we have 16 million to sign more playmakers on defense.

I am so happy Berry is coming back.

i am so happy that I don't have to boycott the chiefs next year, because Alex Smith is gone.

but I am ****ING ECSTATIC THAT THE MAHOMES ERA HAS BEGUN.
