RIP Big XII

How long before the rest abandon ship? West Virginia seems like a fit for the ACC. The B12’s only hope to survive would be to try to get the top non power five teams like BYU, Boise St, UCF, Cincinnati, etc to join. But they may not want to. I think the acc, big 10, and pac 12 scavenge the remaining schools

I wonder if the idiots still think this was some kind of negotiating tactic for the big 12 network or whatever. Of course, those people also probably thought SEC schools would vote against the invitations.

LMAO All the leftover scraps from Texas are appealing to Abbott. Probably went like this.
“Sucks to B U lmao, hook em’” "Can't wait T C U in the Mountain West, amirite" |
LMAO Bowlsby may absolutely suck as a commissioner, but he sure plays the part of a jilted lover well.

It’s all political and lawyer talk right now. I’d personally be surprised if Oklahoma and Texas play in the Big12 the rest of their contract, but the Big12 sure as hell isn’t letting them out easy. They definitely could leave early, but it will cost them a ton of money to do so. Legally their media rights are the Big12’s until 2025.
They had no intention of this SEC talk getting out this early. They definitely wanted the Playoff expansion vote to be passed first. |

ROFL
If a conference is considering market sizes, all-time football success, or academic excellence, K-State isn’t the right fit. However, if the discussion is about solid television ratings, on-field success in the cable TV era, quality facilities, and fan passion, it can be argued that K-State sits atop the eight-school heap of what remains in Big 12 without OU and Texas. https://247sports.com/college/kansas...5/#168308355_1 |
