Having a hard time catching up with the Tigers and the Rangers, but progress is still being made. In the last ten games, the Royals have gained on these teams:

Yankees - 5 games
A's - 4 games
Orioles - 3 games
Rays - 3 games
Indians - 2 games

I just read this seven times in a row and still have no idea what it says.

Also, since I think we're really chasing Oakland and not Texas (Texas is probably going to overtake them), consider that in that same 10 game stretch we've gained 4 games on the A's.

Actually, I didn't at first. I went in and edited it. So you may have seen the original post before I had the A's in there.

Texas may be the team that screws us (assuming it isn't Cleveland). Their schedule until the end is really favorable.

That's why I think they win the West and Oakland is thrown into the mix with Cleveland, Baltimore, and Kansas City.

Was at the game last night. Sat behind the home plate area. Duffy's speed was AMAZING. His control was way off but his pitches were humming. Headed back to the K for Saturday and Sunday's games. ****ing amped to watch us play the BoSox.

Texas and Oakland are now tied. Oakland is losing fuel fast. If we are chasing the A's, I like our chances, regardless of the fact that they have a couple series left with the Astros. I think we will be chasing Baltimore and Oakland for the last Wildcard spot. JMHO

A split with the BoSox won't work. 3 out of 4 minimum. We are at home. Time to make hay.
