It's really all coming together now.

He's worried that extra 30-45 mins of drive time is gonna be right around the time of day he starts sundowning.

Not if the NFL agrees to expansion to 40, as is currently being discussed. San-Antonio/New Braunfels/Austin would definitely be a front runner, even if they expanded short of 40. Besides, Jerry is a walking corpse.

I've always said I think 40 is the end game, however you can not make a city take a team.

It's what a lot of the baseball stadiums are doing. The team is building a 'community park' with a bunch of bars and such that they own. It's a racket, but it appears to be working out for them.

The Cowboys have the Miller Lite House outside their stadium that includes a 70 yard turf “Cowboys” field, cornhole, digital fantasy football analytics walls, beer gardens, 4 LED video boards, 4-5 food trucks on premise, 6 permanent outdoor bars, 60+ screens for gameday, 39k ft of shade cover for weather conditions and postgame activities including a stage for concerts, tailgate games, trivia and contests.

Clark could make so much money investing in something like this with how much Chiefs fans tailgate. It would be even more enticing in Legends where things like shopping, a casino and new hotels would be instead of the middle of nowhere currently.

Folks think this wouldn’t be good for Clark and the average fan?

Austin is the 2nd fastest growing city in America, the NFL greed can't pass that up. 40 team expansion habe to include Mexico City and London, right?

With the way they flopped around, they might have burnt that bridge.

I think they need to give the residents some time to get over the property tax debacle before they do anything. If Frank White mysteriously went missing and they casually took credit for it and then drew up some plans for east village that are basically set in stone, it might slide through.

If the teams split into separate ballot initiatives, the Royals might just be ****ed because a lot of people believe he will just sell the team after he gets the new stadium in place.

The Royals also haven't really built any good will with the fan base, being good for 2 out of 30 years doesn't buy you much in terms of good will.
