I noticed 97 multiple times. On the Omenihu forced fumble/sack that was returned for a TD, Anudike-Uzomah had an effective rush against Slate that ended with what really should have drawn a flag on Slater for holding (who lost the rep and kept Felix at bay with a neck hook/pull).

He looks a bit slow off the snap, like he's just not comfortable yet.

He played fine. Made a few plays, it was good to see.
Needs some development, he's still pretty young. |

It's encouraging to see him play well, even if it was basically a preseason game.
We are really going to need major contributions from him, Karlaftis, etc next season if Jones is gone. Here's hoping he turns into something. |

If he doesn’t make that play, good chance the fumble TD doesn’t happen and the Chiefs lose. |

I wonder if that helped bring his number down, so we can bring him back on a cheaper deal next year. For awhile, it looked like he might go get 10 sacks and get a decent payday. I don’t think he’s that guy, but I was kinda rooting for him to get overpaid by someone. I’ll take him back on a fair deal though. |

Just came here to see if the 5 or so dumbasses who have been mad about this pick from page one are still mad. And they are.
|
Going forward, he just needs to play.

Karlaftis really set high standards for people here on late 1st rd rushers.
Oweh, Rousseau, Paye, Chaisson, Turner Usually these guys are complimentary rushers. Of course Felix has athleticism but I wouldn't bank on him doing what Karlaftis did this year. But if he does then holy shit |
TJ Watt was also taken back there.
Not that FAU will be there, but I also think he's got more upside than Karlaftis. |
Seth Keysor did his review and called out that FAU's hand fighting and bend are solid, and the biggest piece holding him back is his first step can be late on certain plays. He did say that he reduced the rate with which it happened when comparing yesterday's snaps vs earlier in the season, but that it should be his big offseason focus.
