A quarter of a billion bro.

That's not even fathomable. And all guaranteed.

I do well, but it's hard to get my mind around that much money for doing NOTHING. ZERO.

Maybe a bit. But for FA QB's, or for trades when the QB can effectively block the trade, desperate teams will tend to cave when the QB can just go to a different team.

He threw some great deep balls to DHop and Will Fuller a few times.

He owes DHop a bunch of that money he's earned.

Dhop made it for him.

Absolutely.

There isn't anything particularly meaningful in this clip, other than seeing Eisen completely befuddled by how shit ****ed the Browns are. Dude has been covering football for a hell of a long time, and looks like he has never seen anything like this before.

I'm not sure if it's debatable anymore. What are the contenders? The Ricky Williams trade? Herschel Walker? Tater? He's certainly worse than Tater.

I think there is a non-zero chance they started the Rust Belt version of the Curse of the Bambino.

They were pretty cursed to start with, but my GOD what the Jesus Christ were they doing? This place loves (or at least did when he was making the Browns a contender) to shit on Baker, and he's not Mahomes, but no one is. I've contended from the beginning Baker is good enough to win some games and then make some noise in the playoffs. There is some comparison to Alex, but I don't think that's appropriate. He'd throw a shitload of balls Alex wouldn't. He'd also throw inopportune picks Alex wouldn't but I'd probably rather roll with Baker. Especially if it's not a turnaround job like the Chiefs were in 2013.

Unless you've got Mahomes in the wings, you roll with that guy.

Haslam finally admitted that trading for Deshaun Watson was a mistake and that his time as the Browns starting quarterback is over, per the Sporting News.

Which is great. Unfortunately for Browns fans his time being the team's top annual cap hit will continue for awhile.

Yeah. The article didn’t really address the cap hit problem.

I'm glad he admitted it was a mistake. Otherwise I never would have known.

The thing is, he apparently didn’t know until now, which is pretty funny.

I can't remember at this point. Did they trade for him before or after, his little indiscretions at the rub and tugs came to light?

After and after he sat out a year. It was an incredibly dumb decision and you wonder how some of these owners made their money. Of course in Haslems case it was pretty scammy.
