Jeremy Maclin (groin) will not practice Thursday.

Maclin was not listed on the injury report Wednesday, so this looks like a new injury. Mid-week additions are never a good sign, but it is too early to tell how serious the injury is. Maclin's participation Friday will be important to monitor.

I have been nothing but open minded and fair with Foles so far. No reason to expect that to change. Alex is my boo, but if Foles is the guy, no problem. I'm fine with Smith just retiring already, though preference is for him to be the guy to win it all for KC.

I also wasn't very optimistic about this team competing in the playoffs, particularly if we had to encounter Pittsburgh again. I'm still not, even when we get Houston back. You can also probably forget about taking down New England.
