If my math is correct...

116 picks to go, and a MAX of 16 days to finish the draft (though that would including finalizing on day 2 of the actual draft). Need to average 7.25 picks per day, or one every 2-3 hours during general "awake" hours.

Doable, but we need to be focused.

staylor26 04-09-2025 01:07 PM

The Jacksonville Jaguars select Upton Stout, S, Western Kentucky

staylor26 04-09-2025 01:10 PM

Everybody could really help by sending me their picks when it's close and they're on. That's the best way to speed things up and make up some ground here.

NotSure 04-09-2025 01:53 PM

With the 143rd pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Raiders select Jaylin Lane, WR, Virginia Tech

The most weapons for the first half of game 1 you mean... They won't do much good while on IR for the rest of the season! I almost took Tez when I took Restrepo.

****Official 2025 Saccopoo CP Mock Draft Thread****

The Dallas Cowboys select Dylan Fairchild, G, Georgia.

Rain Man 04-09-2025 08:33 PM

Branden Albert comes out onto the stage and immediately collapses in pain. However, he gets up ten seconds later and continues on his assignment. If you're wondering, Branden played a combined 120 games for the Chiefs (85 games) and Dolphins (35 games).

https://sports.cbsimg.net/images/blo...hins.final.jpghttps://cdn.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/R23Q..._8808867.0.jpg

Branden believes that protecting the quarterback is key, and his pick reflects that.

"The Miami Dolphins select Ajani Cornelius, OT, Oregon."

Rain Man 04-09-2025 08:37 PM

Branden lets the Colts know that they are on the clock, and has to helped off the stage afterwards.

Kellerfox 04-09-2025 09:57 PM

Staylor has my pick, will PM Mecca preemptively with my position so he can prep.

RunKC 04-10-2025 07:38 AM

The Cots select Jah Joyner DE Minnesota

DJ's left nut 04-10-2025 07:57 AM

Yeah - I can definitely tell that the Chiefs don't have a pick in the 5th or 6th and I'm not in the CP mock.

I haven't heard of any of these guys.

I paid attention to like, the top 100 guys. You guys could be drafting Madden Create-a-Players at this point and I wouldn't know any better.

Is this how the rest of the world lives? Because it kinda sucks being dumb...

staylor26 04-10-2025 08:14 AM

The Arizona Cardinals select Smael Mondon Jr., LB, Georgia

staylor26 04-10-2025 08:16 AM

The Cincinnati Bengals select Jaydon Blue, RB, Texas

I'll update the big board ASAP but just want to keep things moving and I know Mecca checked out.

Hard to find selections on R/Communist past about pick 60...

Couch-Potato 04-10-2025 11:42 AM

NY Giants select Orande Gadsden, TE, Syracuse

Rain Man 04-10-2025 12:15 PM

Making the Dolphins' selection will be longtime Chief and Dolphin Anthony Fasano! Anthony played 116 games with the two teams - 92 with the Dolphins and 24 with the Chiefs.

https://cdn.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/INWw...-8260154.0.jpghttps://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...ts_cropped.jpg

Anthony comes onto the stage and talks about the value of having a good quarterback throwing to you, though repeating often that he never knew what that was like. Then he makes the announcement.

"The Miami Dolphins select Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas."

Rain Man 04-10-2025 12:18 PM

Anthony lets the Steelers know that "day are on da clock".

Rain Man 04-10-2025 12:22 PM

I was sure that Anthony would have a classic New Jersey accent given his name and New Jersey background. But I just found an interview with him and he's got your basic American diction. I don't know if I'm happy about that or not, but I guess it's a good thing for him.

Kellerfox 04-10-2025 02:16 PM

Damn, Buffalo too.

I hate that for both those teams.

GloucesterChief 04-11-2025 11:25 AM

Not sure how much value those picks would get in an overall pretty weak draft class.

staylor26 04-11-2025 12:04 PM

Yeah, I wasn't even going to pick a RB right there but he was the highest left on the board of about 4 guys I thought would go between the late 3rd to 4th.

kccrow 04-12-2025 04:58 PM

I was curious because this round felt like it had a bunch of reaches, so I picked a popular Top 200 board. Thirteen of the picks in the fifth round aren't even on their board, and four more, including one of mine, were in the 190s. Oh boy. Maybe we'll be the smart ones. :D

smithandrew051 04-13-2025 08:08 AM

Anyone message Run?

RunKC 04-13-2025 08:20 AM

The Baltimore Ravens select Hollin Pierce, OT, Rutgers .”

staylor26 04-13-2025 10:22 AM

The board is going to get Rammed into the submission in the middle of Round 6, and then Dolphin-raped in Round 7. The Rams have four selections in Round 6 and the Dolphins have four selections in Round 7.

The Saints select Seth McLaughlin, C, Ohio State

Kellerfox 04-14-2025 08:57 AM

After a frustrated Grunt because they had planned to take Seth McLaughlin, the Steelers quickly move on to their backup, whom is also from Ohio State and equally fits need and value at this point!

The Pittsburgh Steelers select Ty Hamilton, DT, Ohio State

Sending pm shortly.

kccrow 04-14-2025 09:57 AM

Nice pick, Keller.

Unrelated... guys, my teams don't really need a backup QB, but if your team does kind of need one, we should probably think about taking a couple that should have been off the board by now. Tyler Shough is considered a 3rd rounder by many and then Will Howard and Kyle McCord are still out there too. They are starting to get to a point where most boards have them going at least 50 picks earlier than we're at.

GloucesterChief 04-14-2025 12:10 PM

Was planning on the Browns taking a QB with their next pick since they have Pickett and Watson currently.

staylor26 04-14-2025 02:21 PM

Ntexascardfan hasn't been in this thread in days so I'm going to assume he's checked out and make his next 2 picks:

The New York Jets select Cody Lindenberg, LB, Minnesota

The Minnesota Vikings select Marcus Yarns, RB, Delaware

RealSNR 04-14-2025 02:23 PM

Tits select Nick Nash, WR, San Jose State
