Sean Payton LOVES Mahomes.
|
Just puts more pressure on Frank now. They will surely double and triple team him to keep pressure off.
Spags is gonna have to dial up some nice blitzes today |

Bright wide is that at least our d line shouldn’t be run on. Bad news is we are gonna have to bring pressure elsewhere. Look for Dirty Dan to have a big game. He always shows up when it matters most
|
There's a pretty sizable chunk of cap space that just became available, boys. Pennel, Breeland, and Fuller could make themselves richer today.

He could still end up being a primary contributor to a Super Bowl here. |

We’re gonna get the Texans best shot. Both teams know that the winner hosts the AFCCG. That said, I don’t think the Texans can handle our best shot. Think Andy has some magic ready for this game.
|
Suggs is a big deal now. He wasn't there for the Week 6 loss. He's a damn good pass rusher and smart enough to know how to contain a mobile QB like Watson. Maybe Suggs can be a difference maker. Frank Clark also much, much healthier this time around than he was in Week 6.
|
There are still a lot of D that are here today that were not here the first HOU game.
|
Looks like I’m going to be crossing my fingers for no injuries along the offensive line.

No sacks in 4 years of playoff games. Hurt (left/did not play) in 3 consecutive playoff years. 1 pro bowl year I’m sorry but Veach can’t give this guy that type of money unless it’s on a heavily in incentive based deal. This is so frustrating |
You all are a bunch of ****ing pussies. If we lose to Bill O Brien we got bigger issues than just Chris Jones being out
|
Well Saunders time to shine today. This is how you make a name for yourself. You have a good game and Jones May become expendable. Sorenson needs to spy Watson all game long

In comparing last week's inactives with this week's:
Xavier Williams is active in Jones' place. Alex Brown is active in Thornhill's place. Deon Yelder is active instead of Darren Lee. |

Mahomes is in the same situation as last year now, essentially. He almost carried a horrific defense to the Superbowl and almost beat a peak Belicheck defense to do it. I think we'll be okay today.

I don’t think the Texans are going to run with much success whatsoever and then from there comes the blitz packages. Spags is going to have the secondary taking away Watson’s first read and then he will stand around back there. |

Enough of the battered woman, PTSD, sackless, gutless bullshit about being afraid of this game. We have a healthy Mahomes and, as Terez Paylor has said, this is an “Over my dead body game.”

This game is a game where Mahomes has to dominate. Especially without Jones. Mahomes dominates Chiefs win. If not, its going to be close and we will see.

Hopefully Reid has a script that keeps Mahomes calm and composed. Can't afford to have him too amped up to start the game.
|
This is too easy
|
With Jones out and Fuller in, I can definitely see this becoming a big time shootout.
The playoff record is 505 passing yards in a game with 6 TDs. I won’t be surprised if Mahomes gets close to both of those. |

If there is any game refs should be on our side, it’s this one. I can’t imagine the NFL wants an AFC championship game with two AFC south teams.
You want to know our biggest hurdle: It’s overcoming playing like shit when Romo calls one of our games. Time to end that BS. |
Let's go Chieeeeeeeeeeefs... https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...43c677e856.jpg

Think Andy is going to start with a short easy pass then maybe a run. Or vice versa. Give Pat a minute or two to calm down a bit. But I expect (I don't know why exactly) that Pat is going to go deep inside his first four passes.
The other idea that's been looming in my mind for some reason is Pat audibles to a play, does a little half bootleg off the play-action , and goes deep to DRob or Hardman on the first play, for a huge gain/TD. Don't know why that keeps lurking around in my head. |
