And if you look at Manning's stats he has only thrown 8 balls that have traveled 40 yards or longer since 2007. That averages out to two a season. No. Big. Deal. In Peyton's best year as a pro ( the one where he threw 49 TD's) he only threw 1 pass that traveled over 40 yards. |
Give it up Chiefs fans. He's good and he's on our team. Best of luck on the season. I hope we're all strong to produce the best come the post season.

I still hope Manning breaks down though. :D |

They got their shit pushed in against Oakland and Baltimore. Two ****ing home games. Games in which our 6.0+ YPC running back wasn't handed the ball NEARLY enough times. |

The man is toast. There's a reason they have talked of moving him to safety. |
Not sure if this was already mentioned, but since Denver has started camp Manning has not thrown a deep ball. This was mentioned yesterday, they're thinking he's not ready to throw deep.

But in your defense, Ty Law was pretty damned good for us his last couple of years, too. /not really |

Tebow throwing at Flowers: 10.4 YPA, 1 TD, 0 passes defensed. |
Someone is in need of a name change to Knowmo Jr.

The best thing about being a Chiefs fan this season is going to be watching the Donks fall apart. They used up all their luck last season and it will be the reverse this season. I am so excited for it! :bang::donks:

Tebow was trying to learn how to be a QB while Peyton Manning has mastered it. Denver doesn't need luck. If we could win 8 games with Tebow there is no way we win fewer than 10 with Manning, and I'm expecting 12 to 13 wins. |

Personally, like usual it's San Diego's division if crybaby and Norf don't find a way to **** it up. I expect KC to take the West though. |

Besides... 12-13 wins is ridiculous. They have very few good players left on that team, and 0 elite ones unless you count Von Miller, but even he could only play a partial season healthy. I'm thinking maybe 8 wins at the max. |
Quote:
The reason he missed the entire season was because he lost arm strength and it took time for the nerves to regenerate. There was a time last November where Manning could barely throw a ball across the room, by the time March came around he could throw it 40+ yards. If Manning were to get hurt it would most likely be a knee injury or a broken bone or something. His neck is at no greater risk to injury than Cassel's. |

Sure he "might" be able to throw it 40 yards but he certainly can't do it accurately. Besides, your wr's would just drop it anyways. I'm still not sure Thomas has caught a ball other than the one against Pittsburgh. |

Quit trying to argue with Knowsa parks. Hes too persistent.

And pinpoint accuracy is bullshit. You know Decker had to run like a son of a bitch just to get back in time to catch it. |
Peyton has it in his contract that under no circumstances are defenders to interfere with his passes in practice. I think I read that from Woody Paige.

Miller, Colquitt and maybe Bailey by default? Clady is overrated, Manning is doomed... Who else would it be? Kuper maybe, Prater? |

On the other hand, it is very sad that Joe Mays is our 3rd best player. |
OMG, please, please, please get the season here. I can't stand all the speculation. I've stated my stance on Manning. I think he is going to be OK, but that is it. At 36, within a year of 4 neck surgeries, and missing the last 18 months of football? If indeed he is really good, it will be the first time in history a person of that age, coming off major surgery, and having missed the entire previous season, will succeed with a new team. Probably the closest was Montana when he came to KC. He was Ok, but not great. What got that team to the AFC championship game was the running game and defense. I think the chiefs and donks will fight it out for the afc west, with one of them winning it at 10-6. Both had similar seasons last year (8-8 v. 7-9) and played weak schedules. Both play tougher schedules this year and have big changes to their teams from last. Should be interesting to say the least.
