Guess who did just that: Matty ****ing Lane

This could very well be the bargain of the draft. I REALLY like this kid and think he fits our defensive scheme perfectly.

It means when I ran mock drafts I always got those DEs and Days much later….

As good as our secondary has been lately, the one thing we've lacked is interceptions... looks like this kid can fix that :thumb:

I asked my friend that coached defensive backs in college about this player.


He said there is a good chance Nohl is in the former Sneed role as soon as this year. Reason being this guy can press, has ball instincts and can get physical with the other teams best.


As I stated before this draft, boundary corner was a sneaky need. How many games last year did we have bad play at corner on the outside? Too many.

I don't believe he's just depth either.

McDuffie and Fulton are the starters, but Watson isn't locked in as the 3rd guy when they go to nickel. He's always been up and down despite playing lights out before the injury last year. He struggled in the playoffs, probably because he came back too early, but there are no guarantees.

If Watson gets back to from, he takes over in 2026 when Watson leaves as a FA.

Crazy that Josh Williams is the 5th corner (assuming they don’t still hate him for whatever reason).

For me Fulton is nice insurance against shit like Nazeeh seeing the field again, but I would prefer someone else step up.

I definitely will be watching this corner situation closely once we get to training camp.

Fulton has never been healthy for a full season, so it’s very likely that this kid could start a game for us
