MK was 6’6 265. Can’t find his arm length but I’m thinking at least 34”. He actually played SaM LB when injuries occurred and he was able to stand up and pound on TEs Shorter and more compact. Standing this guy up and widening him out helps him. He is excellent with leverage and his hands

OL vs DL in regards to pass rush is like MMA. OT vs DE. Is like you have a kickboxer vs a wrestler and the kickboxer can beat him with length so the wrestler has to chop his long limbs down and just get nasty. Boxers and reach. Except there’s 4-5 fights going on at once. Before I seen George K’s highlights I saw just under 6’4 263 with sub 33” arms and those measurements just screams average. But his Purdue highlights were so fun to watch because he was like a boxer who had a pre planned combo of punches ready to throw at you and excellent feet. No wasted steps. No fancy ass point guard trying to break your ankles with fancy fakes and shakes. He knows how he has to win and he’s not going to deviate from the plan. These 2 guys play the same way

I like this kid a lot!

Had the same position coach in college as Karlaftis did.

We have something really special cooking here. Don’t we?

#1 offense and #1 defense

Yeah Brohm left Purdue for Louisville

I like the pick don't think he'll be Karaliftis good but who knows

Getting Chenal vibes where this just looks like a kid who is going to **** up a lot of plays for opposing offenses, many times with pure power.

Absolutely. Veach specifically said he like the EDGE and RB depth. It's not a coincidence that he waited for both. I expect a RB tomorrow.

I am thinking we might see TE Jalin Conyers tomorrow. I say that because Wiley is still an unknown, and Conyers is versatile enough that he has taken snaps at wildcat QB, and he has a couple of rushing TDs as well, and Reid/Veach like guys like that.

I would love Skattebo, but he will probably be gone before 133.

I can see us ending up with a Donovan Edwards or some midget like Sampson, Tuten, or Etienne. Between those guys I would obviously want Sampson.

I like this pick a lot. Didn't like him more than Sawyer, but that's kind of irrelevant. He'll be a good one.

A lot to like here.

I thought Jordan BUrch was just a really obvious fit for Spagnuolo's system, but I like Gillotte for the same reason I liked Burch: He fits the system, but has more bend and speed around the edge than the average guy that fits.

This is my WTF pick??? I have the same feeling about this as I did about the FAU pick...Veach & Co. know more than me, so I'll trust the process.

Yeah, I can see the feeling of need over talent right now.

I was just saying to duncan that Azareye'h Thomas at 63, Jaylin Noel at 66, and Xavier Watts at 95 would sure feel like straight-up amazing values, but they pushed needs. I do really like Nohl Williams in the 3rd and I do really like Gilotte as a player. This is probably where we needed to take him, I don't think he'd have made it to even where we traded for Williams.
