The Lions look like a team that has put together a complete roster full of talented young players, not three guys taking up all the salary cap. Be realistic.

^This (us responding to these posts) is exactly how Patriots fans got the rep for being arrogant assholes.

Casual fans who have never watched football show up when their team wins a game in September or October, and just get laughed at because 1) we've had this conversation 20 times over, and for the past several years it's always ended the same, the Chiefs hosting the AFCCG (despite all the great rosters out there!!)... and 2) we'd need a flow chart to even begin reviewing such a reeruned simpleton approach to football.

We can work on all the problems together, but first we have to admit there is a problem.

SMH.

Oh, watch me puff my chest out since my team beat a depleted Chiefs team, although we'll probably finish 9-8, and MAYBE get a wildcard./Gibbydork

What is important in life is that we work together to fix the problems. SMH.

I think it's broken.

I remember being cocky when Alex Smith went into Foxboro and blew out Tom Brady. You and your wannabe red pilled HC will be an interesting side story till it’s not.

This is the worst argument in all of sports.

Bills fans do it all the time and it drives me nuts.

It’s akin to “if Jalen Hurts didn’t fumble, Chiefs lose the Super Bowl”. It’s lame.

And it ignores other parts of the game. For example, Lions fans could say “if we didn’t cough the ball up in the red zone, we wouldn’t have needed that pick-6”.

It also ignores that the defense had the chance to stop the Lions offense and force a FG. But the Lions offense ran through the Chiefs defense like a hot knife through butter, with the game on the line, even though Spags knew they were going to run. That’s honestly the part i’d be most worried about (if anything).

Chiefs are going to be just fcking fine. Wouldn’t even surprise me if they go 15-1 the rest of the way. But the excuses are just lame when any teams fan does it.

I'm glad you're enjoying your early Christmas present from the Chiefs, but you might want to score more than 14 a game on offense before you start getting all proud of whatever it is Detroit has put together.

The problem is TC might as well be speaking a different language. You're probably closer to understanding what a chimp is saying than TC, which doesn't make his point lame.

He's talking about statistics, which you've dumbed down to outcomes.

Long season fellas. This staff will figure it out and we'll be fine.

If I read this kind of thing in the past it would have pissed me off. Not now. Every season there is a game that looks to have big implications for seeding and every year it doesn’t matter and we host the AFC Championship. This game counts about as little as a loss can count in the NFL.

Only concerns I have with this team are Pacheco being healthy enough to contribute in a meaningful way and Skyy Moore getting most of the snaps and doing nothing.

Chiefs were one dropped pass away from all of us talking about how ****ing good the defense is and how this is the way dynasties get going, a franchise QB and a defense.

The Chiefs look to be MUCH more explosive on offense this year if they get the drops fixed, and if the defensive improvement holds, look out. Lots to be excited about.
