Training camp time has become one of my favorite times of the year. This team has been so good at adding rookie talent that there has been talk of rookies that look amazing and then they actually turn out being great. Can't wait to see who emerges from camp as a rookie that is gonna be dominant.

Feels like every year for a long time that the Chiefs find like 1/2 diamonds in the rough and they always get noticed in TC.

Is that really true, though? I remember training camps opening in July every year that I have watched football. Having a hard time finding info on when it opened back in the early 90s.

Edit: July 17th was the date of the start of Chiefs training camp 30 years ago.

Yep, if you hear the coaching staff constantly talking up a young guy, then you can almost always pencil them in as significant contributors.
