Not to hijack the thread, but to possibly add hope:
A year ago last July, I was diagnosed with Metastatic Melanoma with cancer tumors in my brain and most of my organs and muscle mass. I was given radiation treatments on my brain and started on monthly immunotherapy infusions.
At first, I was expected to only live for 9 months to a year. Last week, after my exams my doctors told me the tumors in my lungs had gotten smaller, and the tumors throughout the rest of my body are either gone, or too small to detect. Of course there could still be cancer cells there, but the infusions appear to be working.
Again, this is just to let you know that there is hope.
Good luck 👍

That's reassuring to hear.
I'm hoping the next appointment can tell us how far it's spread.
If it's not bad maybe it's just chemo.
If I go bald I'll have to invest in a Camaro
