He would’ve been more useful than McCoy tbh. I heard Jax is in need of a rb

Washington’s rookie RB Gibson has been so impressive and that was the main reason they let Peterson go. Gibson might end up being the steal of the draft.

Aren't too many trees outside Arrowhead stadium for CEH to go cut his own switch to bring back to Adrian Peterson for disciplinary purposes.

He’s not really a fit for our offense. The age doesn’t scare me. He’s still a league average RB that runs with power.
Our RBs need to be good receivers and protectors and that’s not really APs game. |
It's all pretty much moot, IMO, because as much as I like AP just as a runner, he just simply doesn't fit into the Chiefs' scheme. He's a volume RB, basically needs around 20 carries (not touches) to be really effective, and he would never get that in Andy's offense. Also, he's not much of a route runner or receiver. He just doesn't make much sense in KC.

He can't block or catch.
Runs like he has a full diaper |
He'd do alright here. It's not like Andy lines our backs out wide often or sends them on complex routes.
|
Not sure how he'd fit in here unless it's a lot of short yardage type carries.
I dunno |

Geezzz.....I can't get that picture out of my brain now......... |
Chiefs did waive DeAndre Washington, and I don’t think Andy has ever gone into a season with only 3 active running backs. Seems odd he would do that this year with a rookie starter, Darrel Williams coming off an injury and Thompson being completely unproven.
I do really like Darrel Williams as the #2 though, if he’s healthy. I don’t think AP really fits in but possibly Lamar Miller who was released by the Patriots. Seems really strange they’re only keeping 3 guys. They must really have a lot of faith in CEH to carry the load and stay healthy. |
