Hali is slow as sloth rape. Him in coverage is historically stupid.

Top 5 Defense in points against the last two years and people are freaking out over 1 really bad game against the Packers and want the DC replaced.

Riddick isn't questioning the personnel. He's saying that the coaches left the players out to dry because Sutton threw the same looks at Rodgers literally the entire game. Single-high with Parker. You have to change it up against a guy like that consistently.

Yes, I've been saying this for a while now. We got exposed in the Indy playoff game and continue to get exposed every time we play a great QB.

I thought they beat Brady last year as well as Wilson and Rivers. IIRC, the Steelers only scored 20 as well.

Not really. Teams scored more than 24 points only twice last year.

This year is rough because the offense has been completely inept (lowest 3rd down % in the league, turnovers, etc) and the #1 CB was suspended, #2 CB got hurt the last game and #3 CB is a rookie.

They had a bad game against the Packers but people are exaggerating just about everything else.

They had a bad game against the Bronco's also.

Denver has a historically good pass defense this year and we were actually able to put up pts on them

5 turnovers and zero 3rd down conversions were major contributors.

Given the 5 TO's and being on the field all night, the Denver game was excusable defensively.

Just alarmingly mismanaged.

This is the absolute truth, he let those guys get torched over and over and over and didn't do a damn thing about it besides the ignorant change of putting Branch on the slot.

You can't run the same scheme over and over again, the NFL adjusts.

It worked extremely well last year and every team saw that and adjusted.

You have to keep moving and adjusting or you fall behind.

This is 100% true as well.

And again more truth, they were KILLING manning with the blitz until Sutton let off the gas and started dropping them... and is it TOO much of a stretch to get Ford on the field during passing downs?

Fact is, the guy doesn't have a killer instinct or imaginative bone in his body... he uses Rex Ryans scheme, but its like having a pit crew member drive the race car.

Sutton deserves a BIG share of the blame.
