After reading today's posts, Bob Dole is concerned that his wooden box might be too loud on stage.

What I'm talking about only has to do with a rehearsed band.

At a jam session, where people are introduced for the first time and come out playing, it's "when in rome".

If it's Les Pauls to the walls, I'm all bombs away. I can hit 'em just as hard as I can soft.

Yeah, I can definitely get on an English Muffin when the topic is stage volume. A thousand pardons.

If the place is as big as it sounds, they'll probably put a mic on your box. I got you figured for someone that doesn't play your box at extreme volume levels anyhow.

Bob Dole was planning on bringing his own mic and stand, so we should be good.

A guy playing a wooden box without his own mic would be like a guy showing up with his Axe and no amp.

Very true.

How long will it take to drive from my house to stevieray's?

As soon as he lets me know what time to arrive, I can estimate a time to depart.

Never been to his new pad, so not really sure.

Let's just hope the sound man doesn't forget to unmute the channel.

True story.

LMAO

Serious question, Dane. If SAUTO & I drove out there to buy you lunch, would you have lunch with us?

We are not actively planning on driving out there, just asking for a friend.

Absolutely!

One of these days we'll all hook up.

Okay so I dug out this camera. It's a Tascam DR-V1HD.

I am hoping someone can help me past these stones in my passway.

It records the videos in .mov files. .mov files work me over worse than Donger's brothers did him.

I can record the file to the chip in my camera just fine. When I load the file to my Windows 7 laptop and try to view the video, there is no audio in Windows media player.

I downloaded and installed QuickTime Lite, but it doesn't show up in the "Open With" list.

Is there a good program for converting .mov files to something I can edit on a Windows machine? What is a good program for editing? I'm not looking to get too crazy, just maybe adjust brightness or zoom after the fact.

If I can get this thing to work tomorrow, I will post a video of me playing "Take Five" on guitar behind my back because it will be incredibly silly and stupid.

'Any video converter ' can convert the MOV to whatever

So you can edit it with windows movie maker or whatnot

I haven't tried MOV but supposedly it works like a champ
