My worries about him being able to take a hit subsided in the preseason last year when he got drilled against San Fran. The Sheriff will be fine.

Just how many hits do you think he can take? It's not a matter of if his nick breaks it's a matter of when.

You are making crap up...

The Broncos recently tweaked quarterback Peyton Manning's contract in May because the team had purchased insurance to cover the team in the event he suffered an injury unrelated to his surgically repaired neck. The original deal already included some language to cover the team if Manning suffered an additional injury in which his neck had already been repaired.

The Broncos added the policy after Manning passed a postseason exam on his neck, and that exam kicked in a significant salary guarantee for Manning — $20 million for the 2013 season and $20 million for 2014.

The insurance policy covers the 2014 season and is for $10 million worth of insurance to cover the team if Manning did not play in 2014 because of a non-neck injury he suffered at some point in the 2013 season.

You just have to accept Tamba is going to be straight up VICTIMIZED by offensive linemen and it's never going to be called.

Here's to hoping the same wont apply to Houston while he's still a Chief.

I dont trust ICB, but I do believe his arm strength diminished last year. I'm sure he's throwing shit against the wall to see if it sticks, but its smart picking a QB in his late 30's with multiple neck surgeries.

Tamba hasn't had a sack against Clady since 2010.

I think it's funny that you expect Peyton to allow any of these reporters to even be allowed at the MANNING passing academy unless they guarantee to write a glowing report of him and his family.

The whole camp is just a giant PR event and I have a buddy that attended it a few years back and say that he is there strictly for the cameras and some of the "elite" participants. So the whole "his arm is better than ever" routine is fun and all, but you should realize that you're dealing with a 37-year old at QB.
