they are going to platoon Dorsey with Ian like they did with Soapoaga and RJF because it brings versatility to their 1 gap.
he's not going to be strictly a 2nd string DE on the off chance Smith or McDonald get hurt he will get snaps at DE, NT and I think they want to try him at a 1 gap penetrator, something the Chiefs never did because the regime was terrible. |
Held up good on double teams, no pass rush at all
|
Dorsey doesn't give you a pass rush. At all.
He's good at holding the point. |

Hopefully he can develop into a play-maker. We have one of the best Defensive line coaches in the league, Jim Tomsula and sometimes change is good for a player. It will help to be surrounded by Justin Smith, Patrick Willis, Navarro Bowman and Aldon Smith, who are all 1st team All-Pro. |
So....Sedrick Ellis or Glenn Dorsey?
/signed, CP 2008 draft hype... |

Do you like shrimp gumbo? then you will love Gumbo Dorsey. |

I don't know what's crazier, that the Chiefs DRAFTED A LONG SNAPPER, or that that long snapper became one of the greatest sack artists in the NFL of the past five years. |
Not a single tear was shed.

srsly, if he makes the cut, your team has slipped. he's like watching a giant sized water balloon being batted around by a small crowd of seal hunters. |

I assume he's not goin to be expensive. |
He'll probably turn into Casey Hampton, because Chiefs.
Makes me sad. He was a disappointment, but I really liked him. I really wonder how much that leg injury impacted him, because he was as dominant an interior lineman as the SEC had in a decade before getting hurt. |
