I hope im right, but I honestly dont see Pioli as a bad GM, this team is really only a QB away from being a legit contender, I honestly feel that Pioli is giving Cassel one last chance to get together before he has to can him, give this team a QB that can get the job done and you will see alot more out of the offense and the defense. Cassel is the hold up for the team cause when he ****s up, the defense has to get them out of tough situations and that is alot especially with his boneheaded decisions and turnovers.

Well that and a good HC. Scott is 0-2 in that department now.

Honestly when you look at Scott's draft record, it's pretty bad. Outside of Justin Houston, where are the success stories?

There are times where you just have to say no.

This is one of those times.

Again, hindsight is what it is, but he went out at the time and got the No 1 GM on everyone's list. You don't do that if your intent is just to make money.

I suspect if things don't turn around quickly, he'll force Pioli out after the year, or force him to go get a QB...

^ This. If Clark was all about the money he would have just kept Carl as he was very good at making Lamar tons of cash and keeping Arrowhead sold out. Instead he went out and got the top GM on the market at the time which everyone in the media and 75%+ of Chiefs nation were stoked to get. What Clark has done was put someone he thought was competent do his job without Clark meddling. Now that he sees the disaster that his GM has done he will probably step in like a good owner should and right the ship.

I don't get why Pioli wants to sink with Cassel. It's not his money, and im sure his rep < his job

He's a moron, dude.

No different than Carl doing something idiotic, like hiring Herm.

This sounds nothing like the information I've been told previously. The basic line I've been told was that Pioli has been a headache for Clark...not due to anything job-performance wise...but just on an interpersonal level.

My buddy heckled Clark last week at the San Diego game. Well, sort of. He was standing about 20 feet away during the unveiling of the "Ring of Honor", so Clark was hanging out while waiting. My buddy (who is very loud) just shouted, "Merry Christmas, Clark! Shitter's full!" A bodyguard gave him a dirty look.
