I watched these guys go at it verbally at the bar the other night. 2 punk dudes wearing flat billed caps tried to talk crap to these regular looking guys, then the regular looking guys went off on them and the punk dudes that started it backed off.

So my theory is:

When the intimidator fails to intimidate, they themselves become intimidated.
