I started traveling for work around the time the economy went into the sh*tter, so it worked out well because they reimburse (bill the client) everything. Weekend roadtrips suck because of 25mpg/$50 per tank, but overall it was great timing.

A friend of mine in London got a job with Lehman Brothers about a month ago. Yeah, their stock had been going down for a while, but as a job seeker who was hoping to find something before having to move back to the States, it's not something she could really worry about. Started a week and a half ago, was let go Monday with the news of the bankruptcy. Now she has to move back here, find a way to come up with the money to buy a car, and oh yeah, find a job. :banghead:
Unfortunately for the rest of us, these companies, the lenders who threw cash at those who wanted to buy a house they couldn't afford, and those who bought the houses they couldn't afford, all deserve it. Who could have known... :doh!:
