Really hope once RAW is on Netflix they loosen up some of the restrictions on all the talent instead of just the top guys. Also, no surprise, The Rock is the best talent in wrestling by a mile right now. Unfortunately it kind of exposed Reigns and the rest of the Bloodline.

Pretty sure Rock is going to betray Reigns by seizing control of the Bloodline like he did with NoD. Sets up Rock-Reigns for Summerslam or next WM.

Will probably be Rock vs vs Cody at Summerslam then a sweve happens that leads us to Roman vs Rock next Wrestlemania

The way it's going now I'd honestly do the opposite. Reigns is such a non factor right now he needs to turn Rock face by beating the shit out of him.

I really think they should have Roman drop the belt and then go mad. Starts blaming everyone in the bloodline but himself.

Heel Rock is a stronger character than heel Roman. After the betrayal I can see Roman becoming a mix of SHIELD Roman and Crow Sting so he doesn't have to show up all the time. Just time to time to deliver spears and superman punches to Rock, Solo, and Jimmy.

Current Rock is doing some of the best work of his career. Almost no body can match that standard. The problem is Reigns isn't even in the same stratosphere, and it gets exposed weekly. Even before, the most interesting parts of the Bloodline angle were Sami and Jey.

The Rock? Are you guys talking about Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson? And if it is what in the **** is he doing back in the ring again? Is he nuts??

Jerm 04-01-2024 01:10 PM

Punk is on Helwani's show being interviewed and it's HIGHLY fascinating...he's talking a lot more about AEW than I thought he would honestly.

The burial of Mr. In Fear of His Life was quite hilarious...

Mosbonian 04-06-2024 06:45 PM

LOL....Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson as Luchadores in the Rey Mysterio and Andrade match with Escobar and young Mysterio.

Knew since it was in Philly they had to have someone from the Eagles.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-06-2024 08:07 PM

Haven't watched anything since SS 2022. Cody's music takes me back to the buttrock of the Ruthless Aggression Era.

Sassy Squatch 04-06-2024 09:06 PM

Kudos to the Rock. Figured he'd be chilling for the most part but he's busting his ass along with the other 3.

Sassy Squatch 04-06-2024 09:11 PM

No idea what was up with the crowd. Really let them down until Roman speared Rock

smithandrew051 04-06-2024 09:34 PM

Fun night 1.

Surprised Gunther lost. I’m expecting Cody to win tomorrow which will take a lot of the shine off that streak being broken.

Really good night with few down moments.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-06-2024 09:40 PM

That match was so much better than it had any right to be. Kudos to Rocky for taking some of those bumps, too.

Not surprised with Gunther, he needs to move up the card and did his job in rebuilding the IC title.

Predicting Cody vs Gunther for next years WM.

Sassy Squatch 04-06-2024 09:59 PM

Not surprised Gunther lost. Think they made a massive mistake having him lose to Sami Zayn though. Nothing against him, but his career already peaked last year and it should've been Gable.

Edit: and not sure why he lost anyway. I can't imagine they were actually going to put the IC title on Brock before he got sent to the shadow realm.

Gable 100% should have been the guy to dethrone Gunther.

Jerm 04-07-2024 12:59 AM

I couldn’t believe Sami hit the Generico brainbuster…Cole’s call of it was so good too.

It’s amazing how much better the commentary is without a ghoul screaming in their ears every seconds…Cole and Graves’ feed off of each other so well and even McAfee is good too.

Neither make sense. They're not long term chips to build up. They wasted a chance but Gunther needed to end that reign.

Jerm 04-07-2024 01:03 AM

LMAO Good Lord Tony. Can't make it any more obvious what Punk said was a. blatantly true and b. hurt your feelings incredibly. Instead of putting your best efforts towards fixing the issues you send *checks notes* Adam Copeland out to do his best Baghdad Bob impersonation and now apparently going to have your EVPs try to publicly shame him for snatching Perry by the throat in a fight Perry instigated. Just absolutely idiotic behavior.

Sassy Squatch 04-07-2024 03:29 AM

Or the even more embarrassing alternative is they're lying to dirtsheet writers and it IS a troll. Which may be even more pathetic on a number of levels

dirk digler 04-07-2024 07:05 AM

Pretty decent opening night though if I was booking it I would have put all the championship title defenses tonight and all of the filler last night.

Worst matches were the Uso's and the Damage Control match.

I can agree there. Especially considering Lesnar apparently isn't done with the company should've held it off until he got back.

Sassy Squatch 04-07-2024 08:24 AM

Outside of the Lashley/Cross and goons match, not much for dead weight tonight compared to yesterday. And the main event is going to be ****ing insane. LMAO Especially if the run ins that have been rumored actually happen

If Brock was not shadow zoned, he would of lost to Gunther to establish Gunther as the new final boss monster heel.

You mean when Seth was laying there dead after the main event?

Yeah, that was silly.

Priest cashing in on Drew would be a little lame. I’m liking Drew’s heel run. Would hate to see his reign last 30 seconds.

From a character standpoint it would make sense. He can become more enraged over how disrespected he feels and that its everyone else's fault.

Sassy Squatch 04-07-2024 09:19 AM

I think he's cashing in and failing. Going to be the final straw that shatters Judgement Day. Probably going to be a story tonight that they all lost (besides Ripley).

That could make some sense.

Then maybe build for Drew vs Punk at Summerslam?

Maybe Priest vs Finn too?

You're kinder than me...I found little about last night that was worth being invested in watching. The decent parts;

Kelce and Johnson being involved in the Lucha match

R Truth and the Miz winning tag belts

Sammy winning the belts.....

Ugly stuff;

As stated the Usos match....

Damage Control match. What might have made it better would have been for Jade turning on Naomi and Bianca after beating Damage Control. Additionally I don't see what WWE sees in Naomi.

Some parts of the Six Pack belts match.

Becky vs Rhea Ripley

Honestly...the Rock and Reigns vs Rollins & Rhodes match. Unlike HHH I didn't think the Rock's performance was up to par. Also....the ending was so predictable.

One question.....what are the predicted run-ins besides the obvious Bloodline/Rock Interference?

Got it....I am sure some of it is just crap floated to generate buzz or interest.

Honestly if the match ends with Reigns keeping his title then it would disappoint me and others I am sure.

What would make it interesting is the splintering of the Bloodline that would cause a battle between Reigns and the Rock...or even Solo Sikoa.

And infighting and eventual split of Judgment Day with Dominic heading to team with Escobar and his faction .

It was shitty, made no sense and they put the belt on a JAG who'll just drop it in the next PPV.
