He was a solid backup, which is what was expected when the Chiefs signed him.

Coming in after playing exclusively on the scout team is impressive...Foles has something to him.

Chase was a traditional "back-up"...Foles looked loose and pretty fluid for spot duty.

Why did the offense open up when Smith left the game? If he's holding the offense back he needs to be sat down. It's business, not personal.

Smith's first two possessions after returning from the cut to the ear weren't exactly stellar.

Do people realize that Foles had a phenomenal roster with the eagles and halfway thru the season, management was actually glad they were able to move on from him because of his paltry numbers? We are talking about an organization that had zero intention of extending his contract and were relieved they got to start Mark Sanchez... Just put that into perspective. Mark. Sanchez. Butt. Fumble.

The defense didn't prepare for him, dummy.

They didn't prepare for Foles.

How did Foles perform last year with one of the best RB's in the league?

Uh, we won today guys. Yeesh.

Because colts* were selling out against the run and it opened up opportunities... I mean, Smith did take advantage of a one on one to Maclin for arguably the best pass of the day with that touchdown

After teams got a hold of footage on Foles they held him to like 9 td's against ten picks halfway thru the season. That alone should scare you.

The same Eagles management that fired Andy Reid, who traded for Alex Smith, whom you love.

So it's one or the other. Andy Reid is a genius and Alex Smith and Nick Foles are excellent QBs, or he's stupid and they suck.

Pick. One.

What should scare you is that Alex Smith has had three concussions in four years and can't scramble to save his life (literally) anymore.

It's only going to get worse. His arrow is pointing down.

This team needs to find out what it has in Foles so it can make a decision on the QB position going forward.

Or they can waste more time hoping a guy with three concussions in four years, who will be 33 next season, can improve an offense that ranked 23rd in scoring coming into today's game.
