Jones and 2 years of control is worth way more than a middle round 1st and a 2/4. Plus we lose our 1st? You must think he sucks badly.

I love Bolton as much as the next guy, but a LB who has to come off the field in pass situations may not be a high priority?

Chiefs' Chris Jones: Jalen Hurts Had Best Super Bowl QB Performance I've Ever Seen

Someone should tell Veach to just accept the imaginary trade that some guy on a message board who fondles swine for a living has proposed and just move on.

It's gonna be pretty difficult to win the AFC in it's current state this season with the DL you'd have left after you trade Jones and can't add anything back worth much.

Trade him next year if you wanna trade him, but you'd have to tag and trade and that's a 33.5 million dollar hit on your cap during FA. So this is why Jones has a fair amount of leverage here. The Chiefs need him to win a SB this year and cant' really tag him next year with that hit.

100% agree. And every day he holds out, he's cutting into whatever raise he might get moving to a new team.

Oh yes the old player hating on Mahomes we've seen this song and dance before obviously Mahomes saw the show. He will revisit this after we win our Super Bowl this season.

At this point I think the Chiefs should entertain a new contract that, in full, would net a sum he'd like, but it would be laden with performance requirements to achieve the difference between what he's getting now and the addition. It's important that the Chief demand "#1 or #2" performance for "#1 or #2" pay. Ans perhaps that's the current sticking point in whatever communications they might be having with him, but the team needs to make sure they for performance into any new deal they have with him.

Chris Jones hasn't seen many Super Bowls, apparently.

Two things.

1: Of all the Jalen Hurts pep talks to his team, how ironic is it that the chose him preaching ball security? Superbowl fumble 6.

2: Chris is entitled to his opinion, but I think a QB leading his team to a Superbowl victory/Mvp on one leg is far more impressive than the guy who fumbled the ball for a touchdown completely unforced in a game lost by 3 points.

Well......except for that fumble that was returned for a TD. Right?

I mean he has an argument. Mahomes was the most efficient mistake free QB to play a SB game probably, maybe next to Steve Young anyway but Hurts aside from the fumble was incredible. And the comment was made when asked about Hurts during the Top 100 players segment so.....I wouldn't get too worried about it.

4 total TDs over 300 yards passing, good completion %, record rushing yards and 3 scores on the ground? Yea pretty incredible. Luckily we have the best finisher in the game on our side.
