In soccer I remember when I first saw something like this. Cameroon star Marc Vivien Foe collapsed on the field during a game against France and died. Then Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes was struck in the neck by a ball and collapsed and died aswell. Just praying for the young man to come through.

Jim Ross said he got in his ear from Kevin Dunn "He's dead l, you're on in 5...4.."

Seems like a good dude…

Certainly, I couldn’t imagine a more ideal place to have it happen, medical professionals, defibrillators right there. If this happened in most places, the person wouldn’t have a chance.

The shitty thing is I believe they thought it was a concussion or neck issue. If they took awhile to start the CPR, it gets a lot more dangerous for him. Every second counts when it comes to heart or brain issues.

That’s where my mind went immediately. Over the Edge 1999 at Kemper.

WW(F) took all sorts of shit for continuing the show. And that’s a scripted event that much more easily could’ve been postponed or canceled.

McMahon forced the wrestlers to continue. They wanted to postpone or not perform. Vince made it clear they didn't have a choice.

I was at Kemper Arena that night and they didn't tell us shit. Although it was fairly obvious that it wasn't good.

Jerry Lawler looked sick. Such a horrible moment.

My old roommate was at the event when it happened, said he thought it was part of the act. I wanted to go but my parents didn't like pro wrestling

What would you like them to do? Play music? Talk football? Seriously...

Maybe find someone, anyone, that would be more qualified to speak / commentate during a situation like this. This is waaaaay outside their wheelhouse.

Haven't either, but looks like if you include high school which is the lions share of the games played every year. Freak stuff happens quite often unfortunately

Don't see how the Bills could play tomorrow either. Just no.

I don’t think Cincy would allow that. Could there be a dual forfeiture? If not they need to push it a day and week 18 to Monday for Buffalo and Cincinnati.
