Who does KC need to pay in the next two years...Hill? Peters, Hali, DJ, Smith and probably Parker are all gone....they have Mahomes on the cheap for 4 more years and no 1st round pick this season.

Chris Jones, Tyreek Hill are coming up. Morse is in a contract year. Then Hunt will be up in a couple years. That doesn’t include Reggie Ragland who will be up in a couple years.

All those contracts will be manageable...especially with the rising cap and no real QB salary.

Chiefs can afford to buy some talent this year....

And the guy they are about to acquire in a trade

And if Veach is smarter than Dorsey, we won't be paying so much in dead cap in two years. The shit we were left with will have mostly expired, so we should be well off there provided Veach doesn't add more on.

Justin Houston's mega deal will also be done in 2020. Old players come off, new players come on. As long as you've got a guy who can draft, your team should be in good shape.

We'll see how Veach does.

Our @moonmullinNBCS is hearing that the #Bears and Dolphins have discussed a Jarvis Landry-for-Jordan Howard swap, with draft picks included on both sides.

Maybe Wilson stays?

They can still use him.

No doubt, but will the outbid us after paying Landry?

Word is that Maclin may be a cap casualty and if so, it'll be interesting to see whether Chicago makes a bid for him and/or Wilson

The Bears have $63 million in cap space and that's before cutting Glennon

RunKC 03-03-2018 01:56 PM

So far I’ve liked some cheaper options that we’ve used to get better.

Fuller is the known young cheap player, but Jace Amaro is an underrated signing. I like him a lot and you won’t find a TE in this draft as big as him, plus the guy is only 25. He’s a nice 3rd TE option.

I’m hoping we trade for Kizer and use another one of our picks to acquire another player on a rookie contract.

I’m liking the other fuller a lot more now

I’d also like to see a big move for some talent on the dl

I wasn’t suggesting that they didn’t have the money. I just find it hard to believe they’ll invest that much into two slot WR’s.

Nagy must not like Howard’s fit in his offense.
