Once I was old enough to buy beer in college, this is what we drank:

High Life
High Life Light
Hamms
Stag
Schlitz
PBR
PBR Light (not easy to find)
Dirt Cheap
Dirt Cheap Light

Whoa. That shit makes the rest of your list look like stuff from Bell's and the Smokestack Series.

I love Dirt Cheap. It's much more of a thin swill than the others, but it's made by Iron City, and IC will always have a special place in my heart b/c I spent my 21st in Pittsburgh.

IC Light is the Coors to DCL's Keystone.

There was about a two year period in the late 80s or early 90s where we drank a lot of Weidemann beer. Does anyone else remember this beer? I haven't seen it in over 20 years.

Nice. Love Hamm's. Very underrated.

All these are decent, IMO.

**** the hipsters; PBR was a decent cheap bear before those assholes came along and ruined it for respectable cheapskates like myself.

As a person who consistently drinks dirt cheap beer PBR is total $3it.

Natural Light will win few prizes but it's leaps and bounds better than PBR...

Picked this sticker up at Harry's Country Club in '04 as the PBR popularity started to explode.

When I was in college we mostly drank vodka. When we got beer we generally got Meister Brau.
In high school we generally drank Genesee.
