You lower the boom on nothing.

We should be happy, dude.

Demarcus Robinson looked good in the limited time he had before Sunday and in his first game he was open several times against a good team. I think he's got the making of a real player.

Hill, Kelce and Hunt, the OL is mostly good when healthy and Robinson, Conley and Wilson make up a good receiving core.

Pat is going to have such a good surrounding cast helping him.

Alex needs to light up the Faid this Thursday and get back on track.

Kelce and Hunt should eat

Absolutely. We finally have the depth at skill positions SB teams need.

Robinson will eat Sean Smith alive if Alex can find him.

The only thing that should prevent Smith from going for 350 plus against this defense is if the Raiders put up such a sad offensive showing that the 2nd half is played on cruise control.

Smith threw for 250 and a score on a day that he very easily could've approached 400 and 3 scores had he simply played to the level he established in the previous 5 weeks.

That needs to be a one-off.

I really wanna have this. E a blow out that allows the chiefs to let off the pedal in the 2nd half and the raiders just lay down.

It won't be but shit it seems this year has just been battle after battle

The Smith haters here are truly funny. I thought the problem was it was "check down" Alex who is too afraid to throw downfield? Now, he's throwing downfield, but because he overthrows two receivers he's "too inaccurate (although he's sporting the highest completion % in the league)". Or, because he is not totally in sync with, looking for and able to hit a WR who has a total of 6 pro games on his resume ...he Sucks! Nobody thinks Alex is Brady, but he is still playing at a very high level. He's not beyond criticism, but you guys calling for his head are just a joke. and the biggest one of all may be your blind allegiance to Mahomes, despite him never playing a down in a regular season game. Even a simpleton can see Mahomes needs development, especially with his footwork. He may have a strong arm, but his propensity to throw without setting his feet is a recipe for disaster at the pro level.

He was playing well, therefore I gave him his due. I wasn't pounding the table for an extension or declaring the Chiefs SB Champs.

When he pulls shit like he did Sunday it only advances the cause that he's not the guy, and that's the point.

What's a joke is the people who refuse to criticize him just because he had three MVP-level performances earlier this season.

Everyone criticized him after the game. Not one poster here did not.

What's a joke is anybody expecting us to go 16-0 and Alex to play well every single game. That's just not going to happen. QBs have bad games it is part of sports. Overall if the season ended today we'd be #1 seed in AFC and Alex would probably win MVP or at least get a lot of votes.

You make threads showing Alexs bad plays any chance you get but you don't make any threads or show bad plays with our defense or any other player. Gee I wonder why?

You're just a hater..

Make a thread showing showing bad plays by other players once a year maybe I'll take you somewhat seriously.

Only because the rabid Alex haters/Mahomes fans are out of touch with reality. There are QBs who come out of college ready to play at the pro level. They are typically taken in the top 3 picks. Goff, Wentz, Newton, Mariotta, Luck, .... Then there are the others who have some warts to their games (despite great college careers). Let's see how they have done.

Blake Bortles (3rd) -- career 14-40 record
Blaine Gabbert (Rd 1, 10th) -- career back up
Jake Locker (Rd1, 8th) -- out of the league
Ryan Tannehill (Rd1, 8th) -- solid NFL starter but with only 1 winning season
EJ Manuel (16th) -- career back up
Johnny Manziel -- enough said

The odds are strongly against Mahomes having success. And that holds true even for some of the guys taken in the first two picks..like Robert Griffin III. Every fan should be hopeful that he'll beat the odds, but to call for sitting a two time PB Q who has one of the best records in the league (even if he is flawed) in favor of Mahomes in the belief that Mahomes will do better than Smith...it's just silly fanboy nonsense and I'm saying nothing remarkable by pointing it out.

Because we have Alex at QB. Games are closer than they should be, we scare nobody. He plays too safe and misses to many scoring opportunities. Mahomes would blow mofos out with these weapons. He is a shark but because we got the ugly win, everybody just says, a win is a win.......until January. We need to be dominant and never will be with Smith at QB.

Doesn't mean shit when you have an arm like that, he was doing that shit and still getting the ball there......accurately. **** footwork. I am sure Alex's footwork was impeccable on the overthrows. But all I hear is excuses. How much in sync was Mahomes with his receivers when he made dudes who got cut look like stars?
