No, if he's that out of sorts from "walking up a flight of stairs," he's a ****ing moron for opening his mouth. Analyzing what an AD of a major university willingly said is typical. He always has the option to tell reporters "no" or that he "needs a few moments."

That was an embarrassing display.

Big East could add Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri

Missouri has dearly wanted an invite to the Big Ten, but one doesn't seem forthcoming.

The SEC might be interested in Missouri, which borders Arkansas, but sources told The Post Missouri sees a better cultural fit with the Big East than the SEC.
In order for the Big East to add a member, a three-quarters vote is needed.
TCU, which joins the league next season, does not have a vote.

That means 12 of 16 schools would have to approve the additions of Missouri, Kansas and Kansas State.

Read: The Academics block doesn't want to be seen as "dumbing down" by joining the SEC. Which means they didn't look at the debacle and learn that the Big 10 knows they have MU where they want them...twisting in the wind.

This has all the trappings of being a cluster for MU.

Good rumor circulating tonight for ku fans wanting the PAC conference....

Apparently a very well-respected OU insider is saying the PAC-12 is completely balking at bringing in Texas Tech, while UT does not want to give up the LHN. Supposedly the PAC would prefer to bring in Mizzou and KU, along with OU and OSU.

Texas Tech is a sack, but it's on par with OSU.

This would completely upset the whole apple cart....but man the travel logistics would be a PITA.

The Eastern Division would have to look like:

Colorado
Kansas
Mizzou
OU
OSU
AZ State
AZ
Utah

The Western Division would have to look like:

Washington
Washington State
Oregon
Oregon State
Stanford
Cal
USC
UCLA

Maybe I'm just being stupid, but I'd much rather us head to the Big East than Pac 12 given the choice. Don't get me wrong, I'll take any BCS conference at this point....but I'd rather not go west.

It wouldn't be quite as crazy as it seems due to East/West divisions or even four team pods.

See my posted edited above....

Would be a pain to schedule since you would have to play everyone in your division....and then 4 games from the other division. That leaves you no chance to pick cupcake games like all teams do. Unless you don't play any time from the other division.

HOLY MOLY. This fits in perfectly with my friend who said that he saw TCU Athletic Director Chris Del Conte at Best Buy and he winked at him. A sign of things to come.

Apparently, ESPN Radio is saying that Texas turned down the Pac-12 and is in discussions with the ACC. Rumormania is running wild, brother.
