I noticed that as well which begs the question,"will he be a good teammate sitting behind PM2" or will he get his 'diva' on ?

Andy definitely "moonlighting" developing QBs on the side and then trading them away for picks. Gotta love it !!

If this is remotely true, the Chiefs would be wise to jump at the opportunity. It will all depend on price point.

Maybe Dorsey is eyeing some of his old draft picks?
Conley
Nelson
Morse

to name a few...

Browns have too many picks. Dorsey wants REAL players.
Make a deal.

and young, only 25...This is the type of FA "splash" you make. KC has the money...and Berry has a repaired achilles/ just lost Peters & probably Parker.

I like Glennon as the backup. He's put up the same numbers as Smith

Mathieu has never been injured

FWIW this guy is a journalist and is at the combine. Works for usatoday

Would rather have Bridgewater.

Titty Meat 03-02-2018 10:41 PM

I'd be interested to see what the Seahawks want for Thomas

I dont know...I'd roll the dice on him. Coupled with Berry would easily be the best safety tandem. Chiefs have to give the fans something for jettisoning Peters/Smith/Johnson/Hali...they HAVE money now.

This IS the year to spend...and take advantage of your cheap talent...they are going to be expensive soon.

Daniel Jeremiah recently predicted that Teddy Bridgewater will end up with the Kansas City Chiefs on his Move the Sticks podcast.

On the latest episode of the Move the Sticks podcast, Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks took turns making free agent predictions for various quarterbacks before the new league year begins. The entire podcast is always a great listen (in case you aren’t already clued in), but on this episode they have a Chiefs-centric prediction for Teddy Bridgewater.

As they went through the Minnesota Vikings quarterbacks, Jeremiah listed Bridgewater as a nice fit for the Chiefs for several reasons. He said:

Everything about Teddy Bridgewater in terms of a teammate is off the charts, outstanding. Plus it gives them just a little veteran insurance there. Teddy Bridgewater goes under Andy Reid, gets himself healthy, probably ends up balling out in the preseason and they end up spinning him off for a pick.

Jeremiah is completely right and the idea might seem less original if there wasn’t already an even more obvious fit on the open market in Chase Daniel. The Chiefs are all-in on a starting quarterback with Patrick Mahomes, so anyone coming in will need to know they are the obvious No. 2. At the same time, Mahomes has never held the starting spot for any real length of time, so it’s certainly more tenuous than, say, being the back-up in New Orleans or New England.

The Chiefs have to make a move at back-up quarterback and Daniel is the popular guess because he knows the system already. But if the Chiefs wanted to move on or Daniel was ready for something different, Bridgewater would be a great option. After tearing his ACL before the 2016 season, the Louisville product has thrown only two passes, so he isn’t likely to command an expensive deal on the market. Yet there’s enough potential and youth here to take the chance.

Baker looks to be a good player...on a rookie contract. Cheap talent always wins...Mahomes waves hello.

Eh, that remains to be seen. A lot of QBs suck in Cleveland especially on an 0-16 team. I’m not saying he’s a shoe-in to be good. It’s worth a gamble

It's like they deserve a combat bonus or something playing there.
