Which is funny considering the way Colorado fans act.

Wow.

Why do Kansas fans keep bringing up basketball? Do you see anyone besides KU fans mentioning basketball as it pertains to realignment?

Look at the schools that have been at the center of realignment:

Nebraska
Colorado
Utah
Boise State
TCU
aTm
Oklahoma

See a lot of basketball schools on that list?

"Why do SOME Kansas fans..."

Let's be fair...I am a beaker. I know cfb makes the earth go round and not cbb. And I know we [KU] are fukced.

I think the biggest sign is that the Big East, who is the basketball conference, went for TCU... even though they're a gazillion miles away from any other conference school, and their basketball team is terrible. They might do well to win a single game in the basketball conference.

Why do MU fans keep on breathing? Look around ... nobody wants you, just lay down and give up. Make the world a better place, do your part.

5) The Big East has reached out to multiple Big 12 universities and offered a soft landing in case Big 12 folds.

For now, the potential movement does not appear likely to set off the immediate land grab that many feared. Jim Delany, the commissioner of the Big Ten, said Saturday that he did not expect his league to make a reactive move. The Atlantic Coast Conference has been very quiet. It is trying to keep its league together and not lose a team to the SEC if the SEC expands to 14.

A high-ranking college official did say Sunday that the Big East had reached out to multiple Big 12 universities and indicated, much as it did during the Texas-Pac-12 expansion talks last year, that the league would be interested in taking the universities if the Big 12 fell apart. The official said the Big East was not rooting for the demise of the Big 12, but opened up lines of communication in case it dissolved.
Also, along the non sports line of why the B1G probably won't expand is the issue of the CIC, Committee For Institutional Cooperation, comprised of B1G schools and the University of Chicago. They receive about 12% of the total Federal research funds awarded annually (18% of the National Science Foundation; and 15.7% of the USDA). That comes to approximately 6 BILLION dollars annually. If they expand, they have to split the pie more.

Sometimes, you just don't expand just to expand.

So you see, its not just "my dream world" we're talking about here. Now, the SEC might want you, but maybe they want Virginia Tech or UNC. Who knows? But, if you think everyone is going to start expanding just because the PAC does you might be in for a surprise.

If that invite indeed doesn't come, are you coming to the Big East with us?

In the interim, I'm researching the location of the Big East plane.

Saul is doing nothing but digging, talking shit. Don't act like this is something other than that.

I did the same.
