I’m biased though. I watched Kizer play in high school and that made me like him. I’d do it depending on the price

This is the exact kind of move I would expect Veach to make. Having Kizer in Cleveland doesn’t make sense considering they will not only draft Darnold/Allen, but bring in a vet.
Kizer has legit 1st rd talents and can run this system. For $1.2-1.5 million for the next 3 years, this would be a major bargain. I would switch 4th or 5th rd picks for them easily for this kid. |

He has serious potential, at least as a backup QB. |

I’m down. I think to have a backup QB that is both cheap and talented is pretty rare.

At absolute minimum, he's an upgrade from Tyler Bray.

Chase Daniel fit the old offense with Alex. That’s part of why he was a good backup.
Kizer fits our new offense bc he can do some things Pat can do. He’s got an above average arm and can easily run the RPO’s. Get it done, Veach |

A trade for Kizer likely means 3 straight years of the cheapest QB room in football.

The Browns ruin yet another QB by throwing him to the wolves when he should have sat for a year. I’ll gladly take him here and let him get his mind right.
