agreed....in Basketball. unfortunately for KU the money is in football. not playa hatin, just saying...

I was wandering around Olympic National Park around this time last year, approximately 2000 miles from Lawrence, KS... the first person we saw in the 2 hours after leaving the highway?

It's not necessarily that football is more popular and makes more money than basketball. It's how it's set up. Yes, football makes more than basketball, but basketball would be a major player in realignment if there was a BCS basketball style postseason tournament. The NCAA keeps most of the money from the NCAA tournament deals, whereas the BCS is set up to give almost all proceeds back to the school. The NCAA is really supported based on NCAA basketball, but they hoard the money. In the BCS, it's the schools that hoard the money that's why a NCAA Football playoff is not going to happen despite most fans wanting it. That is why I kind of hope the 4 super conferences happen, and they say f*** off to the NCAA. That would help Kansas make much more revenue.
