Exactly. Sounds like a Royal already.

Career: .269/.328/.371 and .700 OPS and 15 HR's! - he's basically Chris Getz with slightly more pop. YAY!

And it's about time for another Repository. This thread is starting to get teh Aids

Sounds to me like David Glass is putting a cap on spending this season, if we actually acquire Getz's brother.

Hey, never mind that Walmart said he'd spend what was needed if we were "in contention."

Well he was supposed to pitch against Cleveland so it does kind of effect us.

Looking at R. Weeks numbers: he's looks to be a free-swinging slugger with higher SLG than other 2Bs mentioned. I've noticed his WAR went negative when he strated making $10 million a season. Does salary factor into WAR?

He heard that fast food $15/hr thing and puckered up.

Would the Chi Sox deal a starter to a division rival?

If they do I would consider it a bad sign of things to come for us and that player.

a 31 year old AAAA guy, but we'll likely trade a legitimate prospect for him and he'll be our starting 2nd baseman even though we have like 10 AAAA infielders in the system already.

One more infield guy Royals have asked about: Kevin Frandsen. http://cbsprt.co/19vj2Vw

"more of a utility player ...."

sounds like us

I am really excited at the idea of the Royals actually acquring talent at the deadline for a change that can help them on the major league team today.

siberian khatru 07-30-2013 02:36 PM

C'mon, guys, Frandsen beat Holland earlier this year!

I'm more suspect of the actual "talent" that we are looking at versus excited about the prospects of acquiring it.

Well I should have specified acquiring Kendrick, not talent in general considering he is really the only one at all linked to us that I am interested in us obtaining. :D
