Well that was bad, but not nearly as bad as it almost was.

Again, RUN HUNT ON SHORT YARDAGE. :cuss:

Looked like Hunt was open on the flat.

It's wild that he'll hold on to these truly bad habits.

lol, guys it was a tipped ball. If that's a completion, nobody's saying shit. come on now.

Good defense there to kill that drive.

Need the defense to stop giving up cheap chunk yards. Outside of two plays we're holding them to 3.5 ypa on passing plays and 3.5 ypa on rushes. Just need to tighten it up a bit.

You know how the KC 1st quarter defense works.

This bodes well for us.

Felix with the tackle there.

The point is he passed on the easy pass for an easy 1st and threw a more risky pass and it didn't work. Sometimes just take what the D gives you. They gave us a wide open Hunt and Pat wanted more.

Or because the backs have 14 yards on 6 carries and it took them 3 tries to get 1 yard on the first drive?

Sometimes it's just not working great.

I get the feeling that happens a lot.

sure, but the problem isn't the play call, and if Mahomes completes that, everybody's happy as pie.

In hindsight, yeah, he should have hit Hunt in the flat, but shit happens.

That’s Pickens fault. He’s a ****ing lazy prick and I’m glad we didn’t draft him. Cancerous prick

Unfortunately, he will catch a few of those long passes that Wilson’s is noted for, just hope we can limit them.

It looked like Pat had already decided he wasn’t throwing to Hunt there because he didn’t even look his way. That’s at least partially due to his distrust of the O line to give him time to go through his progressions.

Nate Burelson is dressed up like a tree ornament.

Anyone else notice this camera angle and that you can see much more of the field? I'm def liking it
