Plus Miami had no starter coming off an 11-2 season. And the city itself may have been a draw

Eli's teams always seem to fold in games like this. It sucks.

Don't think the 2nd half is going to go any better.

Prepped now to hear the post game presser and hearing the words "he's a warrior who tried but just couldn't go any longer .....couldn't be more proud of him".

Yeah Miami before this year was the definition of “mid”

Not alot of kids today remember elite, pre-2006 Miami

OK...i will phrase it better...

No QB with the same strong qualities as Cam Ward would ever consider coming to a mid school like Mizzou....especially with a Coach like Drink.

I've heard rumblings that Drink is looked at as a joke in coaching circles.

The fact that Pyne is the QB for the remainder of the game is enough to tell me that Drink is throwing in the towel.

Heard the same thing....but all you have to do is listen to most sports programs that talk about Mizzou (outside of Columbia) to see how few think much of him.

Some stuff going around that Cook’s injury in this game is a season ender….broken hand or the such.

dlphg9 10-26-2024 03:49 PM

This offense is AIDS

On the bright side Luther Burden is about to be rendered so ineffective he may be in play for the Chiefs to draft.

I wonder when he decides to sit out to “prepare for the NFL Draft”….

Pepe Silvia 10-26-2024 03:53 PM

They won't win a game with Pyne starting.

I'm literally crossing my fingers for this. Dude is on such a good ****ing terrible offense in college his final year that he drops to the Chiefs at the end of the first.
