Watkins contract is essentially a 2 year deal, in year 3 they can get out of it with some money saved

Sammy will be in his prime and so will Mahomes. If Sammy stays on the field and puts up the numbers he is capable of- he will be signing a new contract instead of being cut. |

This is what I think will happen in 2020.
-Sammy Watkins is on the team. -Tyreek Hill gets a new deal with a low first year cap hit. -Chiefs will look for Travis Kelce’s replacement in the draft. I think this is Kelce’s last contract with the Chiefs. They can’t afford to pay him, Hunt, Hill, Mahomes and Watkins big money. Kelce would be 31 that year so he seems like the odd man out |

Yeah, Tyreek is gonna wanna get a good payday.
It'll be tough to keep both, but the hope at that point is that Mahomes is developed and you can have him carry the offense somewhat with new young WR's. |
